  • First step in ownership of my Glacier blue on Ultramarine Blue E34 525i is to get the interior looking right. Even though it's in great condition, the years have not been kind to it, leaving it filthy. So were pulling the seats out and deep cleaning it to bring it back to showroom fresh condition! Putting the carpet extractor and steam cleaner to work for this one. The before and after results are insane!

    Damn saved from a fiery death. Great to get to watch this build from the beginning. I totally get the extra work put in and the process. I do the same, I have a process/initiation before a car becomes "mine". She's minty, can't wait to see this sitting low on some wheels.

      Filming from the beginning is what Im most excited for! We all get to watch it come to be from the start. Which is way more satisfying!

    I pulled my E36 carpet to do this. I rented a big carpet cleaner. I spend a few days doing this actually, with prep work and everything. I had to leave mine to dry for a few more days afterwards even. The thick ass foam takes many days to fully dry. Also dyed it black with some special stuff meant to dye carpets. Looks brand new. Was a long tedious process, but it was worth it.

    I know it's been 5 days,but would still be an issue with the weather there. With the amount of water u admittedly put in there,even tho u extracted it make sure u park her inside a few days to dry out completely. Was a major thing when I detailed cars

    • @m3nameisjosh464

    Wow, this definitely convinced me to get my seats out :D So its 4 TORX bolts? And then just pull it to the front? Or why did you have the seat kind of tilted?

    • @alexp6016
      @alexp6016 2 года назад

      It’s just 2 at the rear, and they’re hooked onto the front. You can see the hooks in the interior clips.

    • @m3nameisjosh464

    Does the sword type of resistor also suffer from fires? It looks like a more sealed unit than the later ones so i was wondering if just cleaning that area and maybe changing blower motor itself would be enough without changing the sword itself to prevent fires because sword is expensive and hard to find

    • @m3nameisjosh464
      @m3nameisjosh464  21 день назад +1

      I do believe sword is less susceptible, a good cleaning will be alright
