Kate Nash - Foundations

The gates opened on the 26th June at Glastonbury for this years festival but I was in a sweat box in Kingston upon Thames. This was my first visit to The Fighting Cocks and despite the air conditioning it got rather sticky while we waited for Kate Nash to make her appearance. Kate was on a record store tour to promote her fifth album '9 Sad Symphonies' which was released by Kill Rock Stars! on the 21st of this month. However this song, which was written by Kate, is on her debut album 'Made of Bricks' which reached number one in the UK album charts in 2007. I should really have titled this video, Kate Nash and audience, as they sang all the way through on this banger. Kate was also joined by Linda 'Boomvision' Buratto on guitar and backing vocals. If you want to see Kate playing live and I highly recommend it, she will be doing a UK tour in November and then in April next year.
