    So many magicians lack the ability to tell a story the way you did. That really made the performance. Excellent work.

    I hope he does more work in America... honestly I usually hate these mentalist acts... like "oh look, he said a word.. now that word is on that thing from before... so cool... oh look she picked a number... yay.." and it's so predictable that it usually bugs me.
    Not this time. He's a great storyteller like they said, and I feel like an entire show of his would be an awesome relaxing and fun experience. I hope he finds some success for his hard work.
    As someone with a disability (cancer and one lung as well as severe nerve damage) that still wants to work and follow my dream (I'm a firearms/self defense instructor) I know how hard it is to motivate yourself and not give up.
    This dude is an inspiration, and makes the most boring type of magic in my opinion, quite fun and interesting.

    • @DravenGal
      @DravenGal 4 года назад

      danteelite I am so sorry about your ailments have a few of my own, but not quite as serious (unless I miss my meds and start bleeding) as yours. But your comment is spot on, and I think it’s awesome you teach self-defense.
      Funny thing is, I was wondering (rather out of nowhere) earlier today, were I (Goddess forbid) put in a situation where I had to defend myself, whether all my years of self defense classes and Aikido would still be in my muscle memory. I certainly can’t move as well as I did then, but with the help of adrenaline, I sure hope I still could make an attacker at least think twice.
      LOL! I don’t think I’d do too well if I had to recount my ballroom dance classes (don’t tell my teachers, they’d kick my butt, literally, as they also teach Martial Arts and Aikido as well as dance, and have won SO many awards for all of it), were I able to dance, but since the self-defense is more important, I expect it is stored somewhat differently in my head. Maybe?
      Anyways. Sending you lots of positive energy, and wish you continued success and happiness! Blessed be!

    Hello, Christopher! It doesn't matter at all either you fooled them or not. The most important and beautiful thing is your aspiration to create this charming performances no matter what. As Penn said - a lot of people can do tricks but only few of them are able to tell a story through them. And you're certainly belong to this group! I wish you to continue these masterpiece of art and inspire people to do things that somebody told them they couldn't do.

      This trick is older than he is and how it used to be done was books were gimmicked to have same first line on every page and people were asked to say biggest word or most unique word....leaving out words like the, its, a, to, etc. Or people just normally choose biggest word. So didn't matter what book or what page unexpectedly was in first line on every page. That's how it was done back years ago anyways.
