He reloaded about that time too but the clip was just about empty anyways, not sure he slowed him down any. I guess if he wasn't there he coulda caught one more person before reloading. I worked at TOPS university plaza location when I was a teenager years ago before leaving for college and would’ve never imagined my safety or my surroundings becoming detrimental like this. My Mom always taught me to keep aware of my environment but to this magnitude is too horrific to even imagine. It was never an issue to roam around my city. Now…Prayers to All the Victims Families, the community and Blessings to the ones who made it out alive.💔💔💔🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

The first minute of the video has been circulating over here in the UK, I watched it unknowingly and now I know what it is, the shooter was pure evil, soon as he got out of the car he shot a woman and when at the doors a woman who he already shot dead he shot again and did the same to another person, this time shooting them in the head. I'm so sorry and sending all my love and respect to the people involved.

I have lived in Buffalo all my life. I went to college not far from this and have worked in that area for almost 10 years. I have gotten groceries many times there on my way home. I was out getting things for the family when this happened. I was just at another store. My thoughts go out to all these people and their loved ones. It was a sunny day. People out enjoying the day after a long winter like spring. Just completely stupid and senseless. Sadly people today did all they could. Get up and go to work. People had this on their minds, but this community is strong.
I’m a Buffalonian too and the People are Strong 💪🏽 and Justice for the Jefferson10 will prevail.

Also, those of you that want to blame guns, the shooters manifesto says he picked Buffalo because of the strict gun laws and he figured he would be less likely to be shot and killed by somebody in the store.
I suspect the Boulder Colorado shooter from March 2021 did the same thing. There were literally over 10 different King Sooper grocery stores that were closer to his house (including one across the street) yet he specifically drove all the way to the one in the city of Boulder which has the strictest gun laws in the Denver metro area. However, that type of theory is never popular with the media who have an anti-gun agenda to push.

I searched out his manifesto and am glad I did. He describes in detail who he is, why he did, multiple of his goals. It’s terrible watching him get exactly what he wanted to happen AFTER the shooting. His motives were ultimately to get the media and politicians to further disarm black American communities. He said he picked the type of rifle because the media would give it more coverage which would lead to more gun control. He described himself as authoritarian left. He explained he targeted this black area because existing gun control laws made him feel he could go unchallenged or challenged with low magazine capacities.

If you see the video (please dont) the guy is moving with so much intention and determination he kills these 10 people in like 45 seconds, doesnt miss a shot, and double taps people squirming on the ground. Just want to highlight how lucky the heros have to be to sucessfully end his rampage quickly without casualties. You see how he murdered those 5 people outside the supermarket WITHIN 3 SECONDS OF GETTING OUT OF HIS CAR. There is literally no way anyone could react to that in time. These hero stories are far and few in between even with carriers. You never know if there is a 2nd or 3rd gunmen lingering nearby.

Yea its a pretty big country but even in my smaller town that i lived in, their was a shooting at a festival that killed 4 and injured another 10 before he got taken down, he was i think 19 or 20. A place I would’ve never thought of a random shooting. Idk what’s going through these kids minds, gotta be the devil, demons, because how can anyone do this?
Ever since the Sandy Hook school shooting back in 2012 or something, I’ve always created scenarios in class if a shooter was to come in. Even in college i would sometimes just be mindful of where my escape routes were. I couldn’t be the only one having those thoughts occasionally passing my mind.
Pretty crazy times here in the US. It’s really just not being at the wrong place and time at this point because they’re basically random.
