The VR performance exhaust sounds nasty too. The magnaflow, in my opinion needs the mid-pipe tuned or maybe a 3.5" straight through muffler in the mid-pipe to ease the drone
Great exhaust bro. I got and installed mine 2 days ago, do you get this annoying drone and some vibration in cabin around 2k to 3.5k rpm when you drive normal mode and just go half throttle? I just wanted to ask if you are facing same issue or is just me due to bad installation or whatsoever
Yea pretty sure it’s with every straight piped exhaust xause my magnaflow did the same thing . More less feel it’s the normal mode setting at such low rpm trying to speed up .
@@simplekj5848 but I think with magnaflow u could add resonator, mufflers and it will be drone less. I have added quiet mode 1 to my tomei and its much better now, less drone and vibration on cruising low rpms. But ofcourse the tone is better without them silencers
Saw the manual saying "NO!" high RPM driving with the silencer on... wonder what damage that could cause. I know it's more restricted but, is it enough to damage something in the engine?
2021 - probably has a late model/locked ECU and put on the catless DP without a tune, which will fuck with your air ratio for combustion and run lean, leading to a potentially blown motor. This isn't an NA V8 where you can just slap bolt ons without a tune and be safe- this guy took some bad advice if he's running DP without a tune.
The catless DP is 90% of the audible change over stock, not the exhaust itself. If you swap that exhaust for stock and ran with catless DP its a barely noticeable sound change tbh.
That bracket used to connect left to right side of exhaust is just waiting to get snagged on something. Worst case scenario is hitting a raised section of road. No bueno. 😢
As long as it has no relation to the problem they shouldn’t even bring it up . Don’t let em push you over . I went in with full Bolton’s and they didn’t have a choice but to use warranty and address my oil consumption issue

The titanium is light weight but the bends are hideous. Looks like flexible dryer vents 🤣 .. And thats just cat back exhaust, i am sure you still have both cats on there so its not that loud. Just pull those cats off and see how much louder it gets.
@@simplekj5848 totally get it. I stuck with the X mod. Titanium wasn't worth the weight reduction for me considering the power you can make with just e30 and a DP. Plus I couldn't bear to lose the valve. Too useful. Looks amazing though and sounds pretty good!

I would imagine I would want that stabilizer bar on back to be on top of the exhaust so it don't catch something and rip whole kit off
