Awesome. I love this place. Part 2 was just as good or better than the first. What a fun place to see, experience, and learn about life back then. The hell hole looked like the place to avoid. Yikes! Glad you got out of the stockade. They sure did have a lot of ways to punish and deter criminals back then. Fun to see all the workings of a functioning civilization with all the necessities of life, medical, food, water, accommodations, etc. Great visit. Thanks for sharing your exploration here. It is always nice to see the original remains like the brick wall. Interesting your connection to Mountfitchet Castle. I am glad our surgeons have evolved over time. Yhana did a great job filming in the tower.

Wow that tiny little jail is really a sad place to have to stay in. Love this village experience with you guys. Lovely chickens and geese and deer. Such a beautiful place and it’s lovely to get to interact with the animals. I really enjoyed it.👍😊🇨🇦

I enjoyed watching you two exploring the castle. It seems like a lot of the spaces were pretty small and not really designed for comfort! Great tour Stephen & Yhana! Have a great weekend.
Thank you Donna, some of those spaces were certainly very tight, the majority of people were actually much shorter during the medieval period, so doors were lower etc.. 😊 catch up soon
Just 5 minutes in now and there’s so much history here! The witches had is pretty bad! 😳 I love these types of museums with recordings to listen to and learn from.
Viking residents, that’s interesting! Also I wouldn’t want to end up in that prison either, it feels like you die before you even get a “trial”. The water dipping machine is horrifying to see, very interesting but horrifying. Sure, I knew they did that but seeing it straight… wow. And then you have the geese there which reminded me of Monty Python’s Holy Grail XD even if it’s a duck there :)

Those were barbaric times. The life of these people was not a pretty one. God Lord I would not want to visit a surgeon in those days. It is a great place to learn about the medieval life of these ancestors. Ugh! Death Pit! Barbaric! Just as well we are living in better times. The Medieval Herb garden was something good. Our lodgings these days offer much more warmth. An interesting part two of the early life these people had. Thank you for taking us along Yhanna and Stephen. 👍🏽🤗🙏🏽
cool intro, I had no idea when the movie started but it kept me connected, also nice connections to the castle, interesting to be aware of it, that was pretty fast from the prison to the brewery and than to the hell hole ! nice geese chorus , and good to know my gangrene would be fixed over there, the sword used for executions was super cool to touch ...
