Awesome! I was searching for something this.
The other day I was looking at the European way of stick fighting (French and Italian and Bartitsu) and came across these different angles of attack, not found in the traditional 9 angles. And I thought if these were inculcated in Kali. And here you go.
    Thanks a lot!

Yes in most systems there are linear strikes and then curving strikes. These also appear in other sword systems.

Hola Anastacio!! I am new in the art, training as much as I can, love it!. Very nice, I have been enjoying and learning from all your videos!! I would like to see your point of view for defense techniques combined with footwork: both kali sticks and empty hands. thanks so much for your contribution to the arts. Oh, you are in Brampton!! I am in Guelph... hope to meet you at some time. Cheers!

    Hey Mark,
Excellent video with explanations and demonstrations. This gives a good flow and transitions when combined with the basic strikes and twirls from previous video. However when you demonstrated the 3 strikes at the end you went too fast. Could you demo those slower with explanations? It was when you said here, here or here. One looked to be upward from the open side to closed side, then from closed to open and finishing from number one.
Will greatly appreciate the slow explanation for me and those that missed it.
    Thanks
    Bill

One way to review this could be to just run the youtube video at slower speed.

Tilapilon. Did I spell it right? I'm just curious if this technique is used as a feint (double motions)?

Why do you slap yourself at the end of the arco? From the video you can see that your arm is already stopped by the time you tap your bicep. Does this have any practical purpose in fighting?
