Itatanong ko lang po sana kung possible po ba na ma approved yung work permit ko at maka pasa sa immigration diyan sa canada kahit wala po akong experience na related sa magiging trabaho ko diyan sa canada? I think it’s a case to case basis. I was able to land a job in HR, it depends din sa designation mo. Mine is more of a coordinator/recruitment role, siguro kung managerial role ang hanap mo baka mas challenging. I started with temporary contracts to build and establish my portfolio. It somehow worked for me.

How do you prove your transferrable skills though? For example you are an English teacher and you want to do hospitality jobs, since it both require good communication and social skills... How do you try to explain that in your resume sa Job Bank website ng Canada? They'll probably take the candidates who had hospitality background instead. Or do I find a job posting that says their requirements are not that strict? (Edited for grammar)
Honestly, I never applied in the Job Bank, I’m not sure of their selection process. It really depends on your skills and with the employer. Your CV will be a very good representation of yourself, if they find that you have useful transferrable skills, you can be noticed by an employer. That’s why it’s so important to create an effective CV that will stand out from the rest.
