Love how you repurposed the book shelves as your pantry and then putting the painting into a different frame…and what a BEAUTIFUL frame it is…even better for what you paid for it…I’ve never seen an old frame for that price…❤
I repurposed an antique wardrobe for my pantry, but I like the idea of your shelves because everything’s open -you can see what you’ve got. It’s fabulous. I’m a recent joiner to your channel and I’m enjoying everything so far.
What a genius hack to get those bookshelves from the school. It all works so beautifully as a pantry space! And I can’t believe the painting you found…what a steal! I’m so glad you are back posting regularly!!
Your shelves turned out really nice I love crockery my hack for a small house with not much storage is I put a book shelf behind my fridge yes there was room and use that to store kitchen parafanalia
Everything looks great. I love the green shelving unit. The only thing I am going to suggest is that you somehow raise that beautiful painting up. I love the books and decor you have on the top of the shelf but it does hide so much of that painting and it really does need to be the focal point. Great find!
Great video! I'm loving your channel. I'm not a new homemaker (just celebrated my 40th wedding anniversary) but I relate so much to your style and really enjoy your content. I also love old treasures and have a probably too big for one person collection of old cookbooks and antique homemaking books. I keep telling myself "no more" but myself doesn't listen lol.
It was so nice! They aren't, however I really should do that. Our shelving sits out a few inches from the wall because our old home isn't completely square, so once I figure out a solution I really should get them fastened so they won't tip.
I love this video! Great job!! What color green is your pantry painted? I love it! I have a pantry exactly like this, and it’s white, and now I’m thinking I want to paint it this green! 🤍💚🤍💚
I am constantly swapping out jars, moving things from jar to jar, and it is easier for me to swap a lid than to have to clean a jar. Just personal preference.

Thank you! Garage sales are my best friend! People want rid of stuff and I love to wheel and deal, haha!

I'm so glad! I really enjoy being able to see all the jars, gives me a lot of joy!
That is so beautiful!! Who knew a pantry could be so practical and pretty. 😊

$8!! I couldn't believe it!
Love your pantry redo. Always nice to get it all cleaned! I was just wondering if your shelves are fastened to the wall so they won’t fall over?

@@diaryofahomemaker I love your videos btw!!

Thanks for watching! The color is Landscape by Magnolia! It is honestly PERFECTION! There are a few different finishes to choose from.
@@diaryofahomemaker it’s gorgeous!!! Has it held up finish wise not being a cabinet paint?
It has! I went with the satin finish so it would also be wipeable. No complaints!
@@diaryofahomemaker I’m going to do it. I’m really excited! Thanks for the inspiration!
Go for it! It’s just paint! You can always change it!
😊
Why don’t you label your bottles of spices etc. instead of just labeling the top of the lids?
