I’ve owned both sleds. The srx It’s a little more comfortable. That Vmax four is like a little Maserati. Unique sound and power. I miss it. I still ride a 2001 SRX. They boogie
Hard to choose. They all were comfy on the groomed trail. XCR likely best rear suspension. SRX definitely best handling but Vmax very close second. Seating position on all work fantastic for myself. Tough choice.
I have the mountain srx 700 with bender can. With long traveling we do up north, it handles pretty good. Been wanting the '98 srx since it came out of the line. Finally purchased my own two seasons ago. With new crankshaft, new pistons, new oil seals, new fuel pump. cleaned carburetors. Scares the (beep) out of me. XD since I rode mostly 500's I'm only into yamaha. Cause they're easy to work on. Nice video btw

2000, and 2001 I bought both brand new, rode like train on tracks, very stable
The SRX was cooking buddy holy crap that vmax 4 was doing pretty good too
