Thank you for sharing!
You are truly talented in your storytelling!
Loved this. I remember seeing a Lee Krasner painting g at the Tate modern years ago and loving it.
I just found this channel today & I love everything I have seen up to now but wow this is so beautifully done.
Thank you for bringing these great stories.
Please do another segment on Ted Dragon and their home or just on him. I’ve been searching for more information on him/them. All I found was an obituary for Ted. Or post links where we can read more about him including the articles you mentioned here. I couldn’t find those either. Love this channel and the podcast! Thank you!
Hi Rhonda - I will upload a series of short TikTok videos I did on Ted Dragon and Alfonso Ossorio, which add more to the story. There are a few chapters on them in the book Philistines at the Hedgerow by Steven Gaines that were very helpful and interesting for research.
Very cool podcast! I’m new to you and love this theme! I remember the version of Lee and Jackson’s house and barn in the movie Pollack. The cold was brutal in the (movie) barn, where Jackson painted huge canvasses on the floor. There’s a scene in Pollack (before they moved to the country) where he’s painting the giant mural Peggy Guggenheim commissioned and it’s incredibly compelling. It’s so rare to see even a fictional rendition of artists actually creating art. DID I HEAR CORRECTLY: it’s possible to get a descendant of one of their spiderplants? Yes please! How?
Extraordinary work on this. The interview was cogent and the dramaturgy was well balanced.
Just found you and I am loving all your content so far! I love looking at people’s lives through the lens of the items they had and the spaces they filled.
The pictures you take are so beautiful! Luv this series
Love your podcast
