Just throwing this wild card idea out there... but if you don't have huge fear of heights and they aren't prohibitable expensive, it would be cool to see you explore jumping into those big airbags or somethings similar for stunts that involve jumping off high buildings
Marine here. Awesome work! Switch your rifle to the shoulder opposite of the cover you're standing behind, or are about to move out from. You'll be less exposed and it won't feel so awkward to get your weapon around the corner. USMC 1999-2007
I imagine they may not have used squibs to adhere to youtube guidelines. It would have been nice to see some impacts on their uniforms from the bullets though. Airsoft, maybe?
@@irregularguy6465 Yes, We usually do sometimes this air explossions on set. And it works great, controlled and minimum danger for actors and location.
Michael Bay movies might be corny, but his insistence on practical effects is what sets him apart. And you showed that it looks way more realistic than any CGI and after effects shenanigans of your average youtuber. Great work!
Just to let you know Micheal Bay movies still has a lot of CGI. It’s all about how directors use both practical and special effects that makes the real difference.
Anyone else really interested in seeing a type of video like this for some Hollywood movie where they explain the scene and how they do it, before you even see the final edit? I'd definitely line up for that!
It's crazy how much little things go into making a movie feel filmic / allow the audience to follow the action. Things like editing / acting / lighting / color grading / and the 180 degree rule like you mentioned. The end result was barely legible but it seemed like you guys had fun and it was fun to see the explanation of the props Fun video
I just found your channel and its awesome! The quality of content is great and I'm genuinely surprised this channel doesn't have 1-2 million subs for the type and quality of content. Keep it up!
This was awesome, would’ve liked to see a few attempts at locating the miguffin and the position changing a few times. Looked like a lot of fun though!
Awesome job on the effects, that frag explosion was top notch. Also Im digging the Not-an-MP7/Trex Arms kit combination, out here looking like the aimbot himself running through that smoke.
Ah yes, don't you just love brothers that "help" by intentionally messing up. And of course, you know it's an action movie when Wilhelm makes an appearance.
That 'CoD type voice over' very accurate to how obvious most voice overs in that game are, lol. They tell you obvious things and leave out actual useful things. 😂 Turned out great!
First time I seen that green goo was back in the Manhattan Project. I used cocoa for dirt when it's close up and personal. Crushed cereal works for some bits. Powdered milk for white stuff. It all winter together rather nicely as far as the video aspect, the sound needs some work
These look great! If you’d like to make your demos better I would highly recommend taking some sort of class on technical scripts and general filmmaking, some of those camera angles look rough and not everything is all that well framed. I would loooove to see more effects on blood splatters and maybe showing a little of how they make cuts on clothes and breaking things characters are wearing.
would be really nice to have squibs and maybe try some wire work? (like being pulled instead of jumping into the tires for that one stunt) love the vids ^w^
i have a suggestion, some continuity shots, behind you have some pings a pongs from enemy fire, thats to tie the two shots together, and also the smoke you run through, should be seen in all three takes, otherwise very fun to watch! i hope you do more of these!
Not to be a know it all, but generally when peeking a corner to the left like you do at the beginning you'd switch your weapon to your left hand, so when you pop around the corner you aren't exposing your whole body to whoever is waiting to dump lead into you the second they see movement.
You should invite RUclips VFX artists to add some effects in post. Bullet hits, additional carnage, Clone Corp badges on vehicles, additional lighting effects, etc. Do it with the agreement that you may use their output in a video to highlight what they and others have done. It would be a good way to grow your audience with those interested in VFX that still need to understand practical effects, and the opposite for them.
kit based guns are so cool, thats how they made han solos blaster, aswell as the bladerunner pistol. come to ohio, we can film on the beach they shot Superman 2025 at ;)
Where was this shot? There are so many 1947-54 Chevy trucks, I saw a 54 Suburban in there, not a super common rig. Would love to see some old truck content, I mean if they're your trucks I would love to see them on your channel.
I need ideas for practical effects I should test next!

How about some miniatures battle scenes?
I saw a Scott Prop and Roll short about fake muzzle flash using airsoft guns and a light attachment that looks pretty cool.

needed the movie part somewhere in the middle before explaining the plot. great video keep it up.
It would be awesome if you could work with Corridor Digital to do a video about practical vs visual effects.
Very nice man!

If you're going for action scenes like this, testing out squibs would be a must down the line.
I imagine they may not have used squibs to adhere to youtube guidelines. It would have been nice to see some impacts on their uniforms from the bullets though. Airsoft, maybe?
To be able to buy or use profesional squibs, you need a specific pyrotechnic lisence.
@@SERRANOEFECTOS you can make non-pyrotechnic squibs with pressurized air

Bro every video you get better and better nice job man
How are there only 190k subscribers?!?
Fun trick for more accurate hobbling, throw a handful of gravel in one shoe. It's realistic when it's actually real!

Someone get this to Corridor QUICK
Nah, they'll just recreate it as some AI abomination.
They’d just add some horrific head-blowing-open cgi and call it good 😂
@@ZachafinackusWhat do you mean by "AI?"
@@realSethMeyers artificial intelligence, they've been only making videos around it recently. Ruined the channel for me :/
That ad read was actually pretty sick
Dude you crushed this, great job!
“ what the hell was even that?” was the icing on the cake.
Awesome. Attack of the clones but without Jar Jar.
Also the best ad I've seen for Brilliant.

Missed opportunity for some ground bullet tracers, but still spectacular. Love how you keep leveling up with these!
best ad ever!

Nice work. I love the explanation of the effects. Pratical effects are sick! (and I work with 3D. ehehe)
Really neat, Tyler. You're always fun to watch.
Bill
🙌🏼 Phenomenal as always!
Your channel reminds me of the beginning of Corridor Digital. So much nostalgia, I really like what you're doing keep it up man.
That was super cool sir
Awesome stuff!
How are you at only 190k right now!
Loving this series!!!!

Well done Sir!! well done!!! (Ehem Sirs, I mean we've got give clone bro some props too!) Really enjoyed this.
Fantastic just Fantastic well done guys that was awesome. 👍👍👍👍
I saw a lot of cars passing by while you were filming. I wonder what they thought of the dust you were dabbing on the AK.
Awesome work, Tyler! Really enjoyed the ad-read as well.

Great job, thanks for sharing 👏👏👏
nice Wilhelm scream. definitely obligatory for any good film.
Lot's of action with a nonesense story - basically just like every Hollywood action movie. 😁😁😁
I'm going to make an action movie.
For a story ...
I don't really have a story.
😂
Sounds like a good action movie. I'm in!
10:46 “Daddy chill” reference?
So awesome!! Love you!
Some big 80s muzzle flash on the uzi clone and typical hollywood colour grading would have also gone a long way for that cinematic feel
Get this man more ressources, sponsors!

What no squibs? :P That looked like a lot of fun to make. Lookin' forward to seeing more progress.
This needs doing as a colab with Film Riot shooting it!

It looks really nice but I would have loved to see it after vfx did their job
This is so cool, idk how i missed this. Ima white bell you dude.
Was hoping for some squibs!
Cool! I wanted to do stuff like this when I was a kid.
I have a feeling RUclips wouldn't like it.
He'd probably make it look too real.
oh my god hes back
Awesome effects! I'm just here waiting for you to do a collab with filmriot or corridor digital :)
Awesome stuff man! You just need some of these exploding blood packets on he bad guys to make it look perfect
Pretty, pretty good.
Great video the effect looks really cool I just want some fake blood
i like this!!! very sweet!!! i wanna be in your next one!!
Next they should play around with some squibs
Badass video man \m/
My 67 Chevy C-10 wants to have a cameo appearance
Vid is awesome dude. Keep it up I love it!
I have work to do but it can wait
I think the main thing you're missing at this point is just improved sound design and recording. Looks amazing!
@4:33 It's call the "bullet shimmy"
3:19 - it's a pistol in a shell xD
This needs to be reviewed by Corridor crew xD
I'm surprised how short this video was, but it was awesome to watch nonetheless

I missed some squibs!
The most under rated channel. This level of quality is expected of channels with 10 mil, not 200k
Oh, hi Mark.
Corridor digital colab !
LMAO😂😂😂😂 loved it!
did you use an air canon for the "grenade" explosion? or how did you get that to blow? it looked great
It’s the ooze from tmnt!
super cool! 03:20 - why does it look like built around a Beretta M92?
Neil Breen would be proud
Why not use your air ramp for the explosion? Could have done a cool launch with the air ramp with the explosion!
Check your line of action 😉
His tinder profile has gotta be crazy
Someone get this man some squibs!
But how did you launch the grenade hits?
corridor and tyler collab?
"WHAT THE HELL IS EVEN THAT"
What is movie dirt? A secret recipe?
Look up Roger George effects

would you try getting into character in a ridiculous way? maybe if you go through a harrowing experience that jokerfies you, you won't run like my mom
