I have a 2012 YZ450 I love that thing. It absolutely eats up any bump I hit. I take it out on single track. It does good. I take it in the desert. It does good. I'm Yamaha through-and-through. I grew up on Honda's but I'm all in with Yamaha. Just rode a 2023. The thing was awesome.
Me too, I sold my yz 450 and I miss it
I hated my 14 YZ450 in loose conditions, the steering was too vague. Sounds like they finally addressed it, and the bike looks horn!
The new KX is very appealing too, lees power for an OG like me.
Last 450 I raced was 03CRF450,bikes now are CRAZY,I BET
They're not that much better.
Just picked up another gear and about 15mph can tune them with your phone now

If you want to hole shot the Yamaha is the bike to choose but you better be able to slow down for that first turn or it won't end well .
Josh, why do a pipe shootout on new bikes when most of the companies don’t even have the products in stock. FMF, dudes are “out of stock” for Honda pipes for how many years?
Not sure where you have looked or what pipe you are looking for, but I know 10 guys who got fmf full exhaust in the last year, couple of them got more than one. Might want to look around more to find one.

I would expect the Yamaha to be the best, you got RV behind the scenes for yammy then you got tomac as the lead rider
I wish Yamaha would make a WR400 with a 6 speed and less compression so not as likely to over-heat in the 450 chassis to compete with the 390 Beta.

Bro the 23 and 24 are the same lol. He was talking about because it’s been modified heaps !! And didn’t like how it was. The Stock 23/24 is the same and you don’t need to do anything to it just feels so good. Or he was talking about the 22 …. He was talking about the 22 how it was like a boat I had a 22 and suspension was great but felt shit comfort wise. The 23 is my favourite bike that’s why I brought one I rode every bike in the 23s and I’m not biased I wanted to buy what bike felt best only one I didn’t ride was the gas gas and husky and the new 24 kx. I’m glad I chose the new gen yam

yeah doesn't the yamaha go from like under 10hp, like 6-7 at 4300 rpm, to over 20hp at 4400? That's an insane jump within 100 rpm
