I laughed out loud again while watching us approaching bar Pisellino, I swear. You brought me back to those wonderful flavors with this video Ariel! Your editing is amazing, I like your music choices and I enjoy collaborating with you immensely. Thank you for inviting me to this tour, you have always the best restaurant picks!
This was such a pleasure!! Thanks for coming out and glad you enjoyed the editing too :D
You and Mary Jane are my favorite food experts! You both are so knowledgable about pizzas. I hope you will be doing many more videos together in the future!
I’m so glad you enjoy our collaborations! We’ll definitely do more episodes!
I will gain so much weight in NYC & the Boroughs eating my way through after following You & Mary Jane on food tours. Thank you for all these excellent choices that I will have.
hahah luckily if you do lots of walking with that eating, you don't need to worry too much. Glad you enjoyed this food tour!
Wonderful collab with Mary Jane, Ariel. Thanks for showing those two restaurants to get good pizza. This was a fun video, especially at Pisellino's...😂😉
I'm so happy you enjoyed this :D and haha pisellino, can't believe the bar is called that hahaha
Another enjoyable video. Keep the Italy pizza coming. Thank you Ariel & Mary Jane.
Brings back memories of eating at Sorbillo's in Naples when I was there last year. I have to check out the one in NYC. Thanks for another great episode with the wonderful Mary Jane.

How wonderful, my grandparents on my mothers side is from Naples. 🍕🍕🍕
wonderful! I visited Naples last year and fell in love with it!
You make me appreciate the Little Italy in my city even more. Also, you are making me very hungry, and I want to go to New York City and visit their Little Italy for their great food. Cheers!
glad I'm making you appreciate Little Italy even more! Perhaps I'll do a food tour of it soon :D
All those pizzas looked delicious! So homesick for NYC right now...
I bet there's some naples style pizza nearby you. it's quickly becoming popular across the US and Europe :D
@@UrbanistExploringCities I hope so! Hopefully in Los Angeles!
Great Video 👍🏻
You guys made me so hungry! Nowhere around here where I live to get pizza like this.
This is a Beautiful Tasty Video ! Bravo !
I'm glad you enjoyed it!! Grazie :D
just love it. Makes me wonder what it would taste like if you mixed the last 2 pizzas.
Hahaha they just might be a good combo 😂 I love pecorino cheese, it’s delicious on almost anything Italian
Great video! First time discovering. Neapolitan is my favorite. Also has anyone said you look a lot like Baker Mayfield? Haha
Pizza! Love NYC pizza! Miss it so much!
Yes! it's truly amazing! We'll trade, you bring dutch pastries and I'll bring pizza :P
I thought Mary Jane was doing a full blown impression of Meg Ryan in Katz’s when she tasted the pizza in Gino Sorbillo’s. She was so engrossed in the moment 😳. I’ve added them to my list to pick from when I get to the big Apple, hopefully next September 🤞🏻🙏🤞🏻
Ooh yea, definitely get what she's having :P the pizza at Sorbillo's was really like being back in Italy
Hi ariel, i have to apologize to you for not being clear about what i said before about your video backwards. What I meant to say that the you were using the mirrored image setting on your videos and the image is flipped. I love your content and you have one of my favorite channels. Keep up the great work!
no worries! yea on LIVE video the selfie camera mirrors, which is a default setting unfortunately. But luckily not in these vlogs :D
I follow Mary Jane, she’s bright!
But Bresaola is made with a beef cut generally.
Would you know any spot for Korean Cheese Corndog?
hmm good question, I've never tried it. But it's mostly likely either in K-Town (right by Herald Square Manhattan) or in Flushing, Queens
Now I know mary jane from two channels.. time for me to sub to hers too!
Sembra basilico idroponico :)
1. What she says about the rise time of NY vs Neapolitan pizza is not accurate. NY pizza is generally cold fermented (in the fridge) for 2 days. Neapolitan is usually anywhere from 8-24 hours at room temperature. Neither are naturally fermented they both use bakers yeast, but you are finding more Sourdough "naturally leavened" Pizza places in America as it is trendy. You will not find this in Naples because they are much more strict in preparation. 2. The tomatoes grown in California are also Volcanic, in fact most of the northern west coast of the US has volcanic soil. 3. Buffalo Mozz is always cooked in Naples. Maybe in northern part of Italy not, but traditionally it is.
Whhy, in myyy dayyy young man Ariel pizza parlors served coke (no Pepsi, coke), think of the movie "The French Connection".
Digression: Jeff Scher's "Prisoners of Inertia", Scorsese's bookend movies "After Hours" & "Bringing Out the Dead", are other period NYC movies. When Demme's "Something Wild" came out video stores had a 'New York City Romantic Comedy' section next to the still popular "The Warriors".
Late in seeing your phenomenal body of work. Enjoy them.
('John Sloan' link is broken. Good to see someone acknowledge American Painters before their 1913 Amory Show introduced mo'-dern art. Perhaps an occasional plug for the architectural firm of Mckim, Mead & White.)

Love bresola, with ruccola, arugola.Favorite pizza toping- spinach ,pesto , mushrooms , and mozzarella and extra parmesan cheese.
From Sweden
all wonderful! Does Sweden have some good pizza places too?
new york pizza is better than Neapolitan paisanooo, you invented it, we perfected it
People who don't live in or near New York, can't enjoy these pizzas
pisellino = pea according to Google. The other meaning must be an Italian inside joke.
;)
czy jesteś napalony?
Yea this is a Naples style pizza! And I have been before and loved it!

La "ricetta" piu stupida e la pizza fatto con ananas. I'm Romanian-American and pineapple on pizza should be a felony. I Love all American and/or Italian-style pizzas, but putting pineapple, corn, candy and/or ketchup on pizza should be punishable with prison time and fines! (Seriously, who came up with these 'ideas' and WHY are they not a crime???)
Bull crap. We have alot of NYC style pizza with high quality ingredients.
