Bro I bought a Swansea City goalkeeper jersey when I was in Wales, and had my name and a number printed on the back. I brought it with me to the US (where I currently am), and wore it during a game. Some people did think that I played for the club (they were competing in the Premier League then), but I was very clear that I was never part of the team because I know it would be a lie and people would find out. Honesty is a priceless virtue, and it's becoming increasingly rare :( :(
Hey Goluremi, I have just started Goalkeeping at 19 (never played the sport before) Currently I have lost one game from 8. Your knowledge has been really helpful but I have a few questions if you could help me out. How often are gloves meant to last? keep in mind I also do clean them every week. Some of the fabric is starting to rip off.. I have been working tirelessly on my fundamentals but I am struggling with distribution, primarily through goalie kick (not sure if thats the right terminology) any tips? Obviously being new to the game i struggle with voice, I usually let my CB take the lead on push up calls and what not. Any videos recommendations to learn some basic calls? Is time wasting frowned upon or is it encouraged? At the moment my only source of time wasting is booting the ball down to the opposite corner. And finally for the past few weeks I have been playing through sore calves and a hurt shoulder. My team only has two keepers and I play as the reserve keeper. Is this normal for goalkeeper giving the constant diving and always on your toes. If course it could just be the fact that my muscles need to adjust to the new movements. Any and all feedback would be greatly appreciated!
So, let me try to give you some help :) How long a glove lives really depends on two factors: how often do you use them, and which surface are you playing on? If you use one pair for everything, it won't last as long, 3 months max I'd say. This has several reasons: First of, it's simply used quite often, but it also has something to do with the fact that you wash them out regularly. If done properly the glove needs about 2 days to dry out properly, a glove that is too wet will wear out faster than one which is kept moist during training. Coming to the soil: The harder a soil is, the quicker a glove wears out. It's as simple as that. What I can recommend is to use 2 pairs of gloves instead of one:) Regarding the voice: that's just training :) It can be hard sometimes shouting for most of the time, but eventually you'll get used to tht. And don't be shy, you'll always be the most important player on the pitch :) Time waisting is a legitimate tool, especially when in the lead :) What I like to do is waiting to pick up the ball until the striker is a meter or two away from me. That way you not only annoy your opponents, but your team has some time to organise themselves AND they also get a little break and time to catch a breath or two :) By just kicking the ball to the other side of the field, you gift your opponents the ball. Unfortunately, I cannot really answer the other two questions, but i still hoped my mini-essay kinda helped you :) Good luck with your carreer mate, and always remember to stay positive, that's the upmost important thing for successfull improvement :)
@@dome3786 thanks for the reply mate! I am approaching 3 months on the gloves so thats unfortunate. But once again thank you for taking the time to not read my questions but respond 🤍

Mike is actually improving with his drills but he lies that he signes for clubs and unlike you he doesnt show game footage from his games that arent even pro
Hey I am from Russia and I wanted to clear some things out. First of all having a non-Russian goalkeeper is suicidal in our league. Cause of we have a limit of players that can play as foreigners in a team. So now only one team is using a foreigner and that guy is an ex Chelsea goalkeeper. And still they finishes one of the last ones. So basically you either sign a super star or you sign a Russian one. I can get you an example. Spartak Moscow bought an Italian keeper. But on the first day he got sent off to the second team. Cause the main team didn’t even think about him being the main one. Cause they would lose one of the biggest stars on the field. So, to be clear. I can’t imagine Ural even talking to someone foreign about a contact. It’s not insane. And it’s been here like that in Russia for 5 years now. Sorry for the long comment! Have a nice day
A little update. I went on google and it’s seems that there is not a single team now with a Foreigner keeper. The last one was Loria and now he is playing back in Georgia. And he got sold in 2018. So...
I have a question for you if you know the answer: Why didn't Akinfeev ever leave Russia? It was clear that early on in his career and his prime that he was a world class keeper. I remember all the saves he made against Manchester United in the Champions League. It seems to me that he could have played for a top club in one of the top leagues.
i love your videos!! I wasa moderngoalkeeping fanboy but now when i saw your videos i stopped and now i can focus on real football not the kind of football that modern goalkeeping shows so thank you

Sure there's a few others I'm missing but that's a really solid group of keepers right there with a lot of information, experience and content to help you progress.
@@GKGOLUREMI hey I’m thinking about switching from striker to goalkeeper, because I just found out that goalkeeping is my hidden talent. are there any tips or pointers you can give me? i would really appreciate it.
heres one thing: The most people who didn't play at a pro level but are actually a good footballer often thinks that it isn't such a difficult thing to play at a better team. But once you try out to play at a higher tier team (btw iam playing in the 5th german league at a semi pro lvl and before this season i played 7th league) you see how much faster the players are and the you realise how good the pros at bayern, man city...... are. Players at German semi pro level are REALLY good. how good and fast is then actually a f*cking bundesliga player ?!?!
my advice to you goluremi is: drop this modern gk guy and focus on uploading content and pursuing your career. the whole thing is slowly turning into a war of ego. I think you've made your point straight off the first video about him and didn't need to add more. get back on doing the good stuff now Br
Very fair viewpoint to have. Honestly, I was 50/50 on if I was going to make another video on Mike or not. The tipping point really was that he just straight up denied everything I mentioned in the first video I made. And if someone is just going to constantly lie to benefit themselves I think they should be held accountable for those lies. But don't worry I really don't plan on this being a focus point for my channel in the upcoming months. The main focus will be getting out some more quality tutorials and landing another contract during the summer transfer window.
My two cents: first of all, you have to work on the editing... Removing the original posters name is ok, but you have to remove it in the answer as well... And after that... I think he changed a little bit. He tries to get somewhere, and always tries for a first tier Team, like Ural or NY red Bulls, without, as you mentioned, playing on a real team. Even not a semi pro team... But he thinks he is someone... But from the professional perspective, I think he is burned out... Years without playing, but seems to have a good network created... And when he would sign on second/third tier teams... Would you take him serious? Especially when most teams have a better no 1 in their net, mostly a senior and a youth goalie completing the team (at least when checking most of the teams)... Which means - he is to young and inexperienced to be the senior keeper. To old to be the junior keeper.. And probably not good enough to be a no 1 somewhere... And, with 25 he is not a talent anymore... He has to be a pro at this point, and errors wouldn't be apologized so easy And last point: why would Manuel neuer write him in English... Last time I looked up, both were Germans
He could also just be not hated at all and say he did challenges for his social media and said he wasn't a professional, but he went on the other route.
He didnt tried out for Ural or Red Bulls. Practice session with a couple players designed to increase social media presence for the teams is not a try out Even the russina coach make it clear calling a "practice"
every video his title is something along the lines of "im going pro"/"im going pro after this" and this has been going on for months, LOL i guess no team wants him even if he "want" to go pro
At this point, this guy is real, he's honest and he's being himself, i cannot 100% confirm that of course but that is something you feel as a human, i can speak for everyone here if im saying that this mike is fake as fck, he's only focussing on his appearance and makinv spectacular video's, of course i cannot confirm this 100% but it is something you feel as a human being
Moderngoalkeeping was in the wrong as he didnt accept criticism Bashing on GK Goluremi with his Improved content shows his true character as a person, which he seems like an abusive person.
I mean I just think he’s having fun doing what he loves. Yeah some of his drills are not “game situations” but the ones you showed help with punching accuracy and jumping so idk why you hate him so much
He explained why: Mischa (Michael) Bolvin a.k.a Modern Goalkeeping is a yt goalkeeper as you know, and recently his content has been getting improved by Mike... But he changed as a keeper but no as a person, he is a man (25yo) and acts like a 17 kid, is inmature, a liar, an egocentrist and selfish guy that plays like he wants to "help" young keepers to improve when the only thing he do is to upload videos of himself doing innecessary or dumb drills (before the first Goluremi video, now the videos are better) and he just flex that real keepers like Neuer (Best gk of the world on 2012-2016 imo) and says that, of they cheer him for doing some of his drills (like 2/6 for an example) we as espectators, know no shit, and he is a genius of goalkeeping... so this is with no hate bro its just a little summary of the video *disappears *

Yeah for sure he got DM’ed by NEUER lol
@Gwwc’mp Éfghœ his content is getting better but the problem is that he is imature on social media. He doesn't admit to anything he does and just starts more drama online.Him as a person has a huge impact on his channel and this is why a lot of people don't like him.

Honesty is a priceless virtue, and it's becoming increasingly rare :( :(
I’ll go back to his channel once in a while to see how he’s holding up and watch his gk vids
Modern goalkeeping vs GK GOLUREMI goaly wars??
I bet he has that neuer dm framed on his bedside table 😆
The amount of people who say they watch modern gk to improve is scary
v scary
you gotta remember no one who takes this sport seriously watches him, just kids who enjoy fifa and think they wanna play pro lol
I watch his videos and I have to tell you that I am actually improving so that's not truth

Hey Goluremi, I have just started Goalkeeping at 19 (never played the sport before)
Currently I have lost one game from 8. Your knowledge has been really helpful but
I have a few questions if you could help me out.
So, let me try to give you some help :)
How long a glove lives really depends on two factors: how often do you use them, and which surface are you playing on? If you use one pair for everything, it won't last as long, 3 months max I'd say. This has several reasons: First of, it's simply used quite often, but it also has something to do with the fact that you wash them out regularly. If done properly the glove needs about 2 days to dry out properly, a glove that is too wet will wear out faster than one which is kept moist during training. Coming to the soil: The harder a soil is, the quicker a glove wears out. It's as simple as that. What I can recommend is to use 2 pairs of gloves instead of one:)
Regarding the voice: that's just training :) It can be hard sometimes shouting for most of the time, but eventually you'll get used to tht. And don't be shy, you'll always be the most important player on the pitch :)
Time waisting is a legitimate tool, especially when in the lead :) What I like to do is waiting to pick up the ball until the striker is a meter or two away from me. That way you not only annoy your opponents, but your team has some time to organise themselves AND they also get a little break and time to catch a breath or two :) By just kicking the ball to the other side of the field, you gift your opponents the ball.
Unfortunately, I cannot really answer the other two questions, but i still hoped my mini-essay kinda helped you :)
Good luck with your carreer mate, and always remember to stay positive, that's the upmost important thing for successfull improvement :)
@@dome3786 thanks for the reply mate! I am approaching 3 months on the gloves so thats unfortunate. But once again thank you for taking the time to not read my questions but respond 🤍

@@sonlaxx appreciate the positivity, but starting at this age yes I don't have experience. But I have played other physical sports. And by learning the proper ways now I don't have re program my techniques that may or may not have been performing incorrectly since juniors. the ending was an absolute bombshell
17:30 Actually a goalkeeper gloves n kit on youtube did that on this teams camp. But I think moderngoalkeeping visited only 1 training session while gloves n kit finished the whole thing.
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS!!!!!!!!
mikes just a big liar. its shocking how people haven't figured it out yet.
Good to see he's improving for sure, as the ones last time were really bad and frustrated me as a GK coach, but at the same the people online make me laugh saying 'thats not what pros train like' yet have no idea themselves 😂
If it was never a serious injury, why did bobby resume training after a "LONG" time?
He didn’t say he resumed training after a long time, he said he has been training again for a long time.
@@lelia8456 in the original video it says he had to be off the field for 7 weeks
That advertisement with the dog was better than mikes whole career
Dude, i'm sorry that we have goalkeeper imposters like him or Karol/ Goalkeeperz from germany.
Yeah, that's embarrassing, especially because Germany probably develops goalkeepers better than any other country on the planet.
17:00 , This could not be more FRAUD. Tyler gets it spot on
Mike is actually improving with his drills but he lies that he signes for clubs and unlike you he doesnt show game footage from his games that arent even pro
That dog do be dripping tho 🥵 🥵 🥵
i love your videos!! I wasa moderngoalkeeping fanboy but now when i saw your videos i stopped and now i can focus on real football not the kind of football that modern goalkeeping shows so thank you

heres one thing: The most people who didn't play at a pro level but are actually a good footballer often thinks that it isn't such a difficult thing to play at a better team.
Part 2 of ur best vid ever
Waiting for 2022 so that there will be another video about this kid to laught about😂👍🏻
my advice to you goluremi is: drop this modern gk guy and focus on uploading content and pursuing your career. the whole thing is slowly turning into a war of ego. I think you've made your point straight off the first video about him and didn't need to add more. get back on doing the good stuff now
Br
but these videos are entertaining and generally blow up so it’s in his best interest to keep these going
It’s important we check the people youth players look up to online.
This should be end with world war 3😂
@@amlasbenna2660 lol this is bigger than a world war. This is goalkeeper beer!
7:09 when I paused it I came back to my phone scared for my life
"you havnt signed a professional contract. i have." RIP fraud youtube career lol
Before this video started, I got an ad for Goalkeeper equipment
He has to be a pro at this point, and errors wouldn't be apologized so easy
And last point: why would Manuel neuer write him in English... Last time I looked up, both were Germans
that’s the entire problem!! he THINKS he is somebody worthy of a pro football contract/trial. you said it, he’s not a child anymore he’s 25!
He could also just be not hated at all and say he did challenges for his social media and said he wasn't a professional, but he went on the other route.
He didnt tried out for Ural or Red Bulls. Practice session with a couple players designed to increase social media presence for the teams is not a try out
Even the russina coach make it clear calling a "practice"
I love the ending 'If not, I can always make a new video on you next year'
That neuer one is 100% cap cause nina neuer is the one who handles all the social media stuff
What are you talking about they’re not even together anymore he has another gf
Never knew Mike cared that much about that vid you made...
what a kid (mike)...
every video his title is something along the lines of "im going pro"/"im going pro after this" and this has been going on for months, LOL i guess no team wants him even if he "want" to go pro
It’s called proper scouting, gone is the day scouting is done through RUclips
Do you like Bobby’s videos? I love watching his videos and he helps motivate me
Short answer: yes
Long answer: YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS

I honestly thought Mike was 19😂😂😂
I thought he was over 30 but just had a babyface
We need a part 3 this year
I bet he paid the kid to say that he didn't get injured lmao
@Bobby R Jones proof?
At this point, this guy is real, he's honest and he's being himself, i cannot 100% confirm that of course but that is something you feel as a human, i can speak for everyone here if im saying that this mike is fake as fck, he's only focussing on his appearance and makinv spectacular video's, of course i cannot confirm this 100% but it is something you feel as a human being
Moderngoalkeeping was in the wrong as he didnt accept criticism
Bashing on GK Goluremi with his Improved content shows his true character as a person, which he seems like an abusive person.
Modern goalkeeping says he is the best goalie in youtube :me watching the cycling GK
I mean I just think he’s having fun doing what he loves. Yeah some of his drills are not “game situations” but the ones you showed help with punching accuracy and jumping so idk why you hate him so much
He explained why:
Mischa (Michael) Bolvin a.k.a Modern Goalkeeping is a yt goalkeeper as you know, and recently his content has been getting improved by Mike... But he changed as a keeper but no as a person, he is a man (25yo) and acts like a 17 kid, is inmature, a liar, an egocentrist and selfish guy that plays like he wants to "help" young keepers to improve when the only thing he do is to upload videos of himself doing innecessary or dumb drills (before the first Goluremi video, now the videos are better) and he just flex that real keepers like Neuer (Best gk of the world on 2012-2016 imo) and says that, of they cheer him for doing some of his drills (like 2/6 for an example) we as espectators, know no shit, and he is a genius of goalkeeping... so this is with no hate bro its just a little summary of the video *disappears *
that was actually such a wholesome advert
Why would Manuel neur message him in English they both speak German it makes no sense
I loved that ad with your dog!!! So cute 🥰
