That is a killer bow, the colors are out of this world, the limbs look perfect, I'm going to sell my TRX 40 and TRX 7 and my 2014 Nissan Altima and buy it!
I bought a phase 4 about a month ago yes the price point is crazy and I don’t have deep pockets but I gotta say out of any other bow I’ve shot I would never go back to anything else I will gladly continue opening my pockets to Mathew’s not a target shooter just a hunter and I love what they are doing
Mathew's mod based system is to keep you paying money as if you haven't paid enough!! Get with the game Mathew's get a rotating mod/left off system. I'll stick to my Elites thanks.
Interesting business decision by Mathews to continue with such a high price point when a vast majority of the population are tightening their wallets. Their lineup of bows will appeal to an even smaller portion of the market space at this price point (same for accessories). Should be interesting to see their hunting bows - rumor is the hunting bows will have the same limbs/axle situation as the Title. If that is true, the hunting bows will cost quite a bit more than previous. There is a huge opportunity for a bow maker to come out with a very solid bow under $1000 and just sell them like crazy. Gonna be super interesting to see if Prime, Hoyt, Bowtech all go the same way as Mathews and keep driving up prices or if at least one of them sees the opportunity for a different approach in the market space. Oh, also, if you have a V3X or a Phase 4 - it is going to hold insane value now. You could get original MSRP for a clean V3X or Phase 4 for the next year or so.
phase 4 and v3x are for sale right now way below msrp used and new left over stock. 800ish for v3x and 1000 or a little less for the p4 used bows. Bows dont hold their value period, though mathews are a little better in that regard.
I do wish Mathews would get their adjustability on Bowtech’s level. 1/4 inch adjustments no different modules, but Bowtech doesn’t have the ability to go from 50-70 on the same set of limbs either. If a wide range of poundage is that important to someone, the Mathews is definitely the way to go.
@@YoureSoVane I agree the stabilizer thing is really atrocious. Hell, target bows in general are stupid expensive. But they’ll sell a bunch of them, therefore they’ll keep raising these already astronomical prices
@@SomeGuyFromOK it would be a better buy with gold on it for sure. Mathews has always priced their stuff a few hundred higher than everyone else’s. The lack of tunning without a bow press is why I will stick with bowtech. It looks like they took a few pages from the Reckoning anyhow. But nothing beats the adjustability of the Reckoning gen 2. And for a good few hundred less.
Help me understand the cam efficiency when the cam rotation is not being fully utilized. How can you have peak cam efficiency at a short draw 26in versus a longer draw 31.5in on the same cam? The cam won't rotate as far for a 26in DL but will fully rotate on the 31.5
Are the Mods Cam specific? Cams provide DL and Let-Off only or do they provide another function too? Very expensive...but seems nice. Just very propietary, which means harder to support, and own, logistically. But you do not buy a Ferari for its cheap parts.
The most expensive target bow ever made, the most expensive stabs ever made, the most expensive branded rest ever made, im sure theres more. Mathews said we are gonna charge you out your ass and you're gonna love it
Bows amymore are so expensive they’re more or less for guys who have sponsors that pay for em Like everything else prices keep going up and up I just take excellent care of my current bows fishing gear and guns make em last
Mathew’s has become that company wants to squeeze their dealers and customers. Expensive bows with insanely expensive accessories all while doing nothing for adjustability or tunability. Too many better options to continue to support them. IMO
Mathews is my favorite bow company but their target models would not win a beauty contest. However, they win lots of competitions which is all that matters. Their hunting bows are much better looking, jmo.
way too expensive. way too complicated. dealer unfriendly. need new bow press brackets. but yes, looks great. kind a fall in love, but we will be never together. 💔
You can't just change out your poundage and expect your tune to stay the same. You'd have to retune your bow every time you change things up. So the "one bow" solution is nearly impossible to have if you're hoping for a properly tuned bow.
@@vm859 Changing the poundage while retaining the draw length will affect the height of your peep. YES you can use a single bow for all things (hunting, indoor, outdoor, 3D... ) but if you swap poundage you'll need to tune it again every time you make changes and soon you'll realize that is just better to buy a second unit of the same bow with different settings.
@@Buran01 maybe if you take turns out of the limb bolts but with the switch weight peep does not need adjusting. Yes need to retune, and new sight tape but you set up one bow for indoor 60 lbs then 3d/field 70lbs. Retune for the seasons.
I change my mods on my hunting bow Every year after hunting season is over For my indoor target archery league and it shoots bullet holes No matter which mod I put on It. The only thing that changes is the draw weight At least on my bow
Clearly Mathews is only interested in serving the “top” of the industry anymore. The innovation is the same, yet the price continues to go up. It’s pretty obvious why Bowtech is trending so far up compared to Mathews.

Alright, then don't listen to the Pro shooter portion of the video if you don't want to listen to sponsored pros. Also, "Let customers try the thing out" would just apply to literally every single product video anyone ever does, so not sure what the point of that sentence is. Lastly, you're in luck, because no one is forcing you to buy anything.
And you only have to take a 2nd mortgage out to own one, thanks Mathews
A 2nd mortgage won’t even get you the stabilisers…
Right? Thanks, but no thanks!

Love the Title looking at another great year on it, make changing weight of the bow easy with a mod change verses whole limb changing.
