I love this so so so much they need to release these again
My Q should arrive soon. I need to start working on my “why I needed it story” for my wife. It’s getting tougher to validate my purchases. It’s hard to justify the unjustifiable.

I think the look and price will win her over. I really get the blank stare when I start talking about a certain Bulova Sea King LE. It comes up on Whatnot from time to time and I am always tempted to pull the trigger. I don’t need it, but damn it’s cool.

This reminds me of my Dads watch I loved so much, growing up. The domed crystal, pie pan face, applied markers, speidel type stretch band and silver colour all mymic the past. Well done Hodinkee and Timex. Bringing affordable style to the present generation is a growing trend post covid as we yearn for happier days. Nice review Chris I am now a subscriber.
I got mine yesterday and it's so fun to wear. It disappears on the wrist yet is beautiful every time I choose to look at it. Makes me want to get the regular Q Pepsi.

The same hour and minute hands as a Rolex DJ or DD but in SS. I remember the first Timex I purchased at Fedco had the same type of bracelet

I like it. Just needs a pop of color somewhere to set it off in my opinion. Timex and hair nipping goes together like peanut butter and jelly.

beautiful watch I put one in my basket today but its weird, since the U.K has left europe the import taxes have gone insane, even from the U.S which I find weird considering its direct and doesnt need to go through Europe?......
Mine (UK ) is arriving tomorrow. Customs charge via UPS is £52 including the UPS brokerage charge. That's on top of the $40 shipping. All-in it comes to £257 delivered.

Hey, this does NOT have a 👻 date position. They use the miyota m230 which has no date
man it's sold out now
Although that band seems like a big problem for someone with hairy arms like myself
How do you remove a link?
There are “non stretchy” links on the part of the bracelet that touches the bottom of your wrist. If you squeeze them firmly or press the rectangular “button” on the underside, the links come apart. It almost looks like a little mouth that opens when you squeeze, and closes enough to grab the next link when you let go.
How would this look on a 6inch wrist?
It would wear slightly larger but not overly big, nothing obnoxious
Can these links be removed?
Does anyone know how many of these that were made and if the limited edition number is on the back of the watch case?
I read somewhere 2500 but I could very well be wrong
I have a friend who works for Hodinkee, confirmed 2500 produced, probably will sell out this week
