In statistics, when the null hypothesis is accepted, it is likely that:
Neither (A) nor (B) has Occurred
A correct Decision has been Made
A Type-I Error has been Made
Both (A) and (B) have Occurred

What does it mean when we say that any hypothesis is always tested against the null hypothesis ?

Null Hypothesis - (in the statistical testing of a hypothesis) the hypothesis to be tested.
(After wasting time on a several of videos that bring in everything from the speed of light to long equations, I looked in a dictionary.)
