    Wanna pintpoint a relevant note related to p-value definition:
    P-value is NOT the probability of Type I error (as it is said in the video).
    That is actually the error rate.
    P values are calculated based on the assumptions that the null is true for the population and that the difference in the sample is caused entirely by random chance. Consequently, P values can’t tell you the probability that the null is true or false because it is 100% true from the perspective of the calculations.
    P-value IS the probability of obtaining an effect at least as extreme as the one in your data, assuming the truth of the null hypothesis.

    how will you do it if sample mean was given instead of population mean? and if it was for a paired test?

    But why did you multiply the Z-value by two?
    Shouldn't you divide it by two?

    Why you are using Z statistics instead of T statistics????? Data for target is small i.e. less than 30 and so we must use T statistics instead of Z statistics....pls reply

      Thanks Amol. Using Z because we know the population standard deviation and because we are assuming normality in the data.
