Dude was way more creative and articulate as a full-blown heroin addict than most sober people
They must have really been junkies during the girls girls girls album, that one only took them about two weeks to record
Great privilege
@@yell0wberry they ain’t make dancing on glass for no reason😂
No he was a theif. Just like a heroin addict. None of his ideas are original.
big truth
Nikki, even in the height of drug use still shows he very well spoken
Yeah, there is always that one member of the group that is very analytical who carry these interviews
Eh kind of you can definitely hear the slurring as he talks thoigh
I think a lot of his addiction days were a bit exaggerated
@@matthewsweeney9454 like Tommy's groove has carried the band since day one.
You sure about that?
Sixx isn't your typical rocker...
He's a marketing genius and a music writing monster...So glad you got off dope!!!
I wouldn't say that about his writing but yeah great marketer. Managed to keep up that stupid shit for many years now so yeah well done to him.
@@SerjianTuuuski5 Well, this band has some really good songs and Nikki is the main composer so yea, he is a genius.
@@TheStepmonkey Producers and professional songwriters craft his basic ideas. He's no genius. I also used to believe he was the real deal.
@@rickjag4928 You must have a “great” life if trolling around pissing on Nikki is how you get off. You’re pathetic.
He was better on drugs. I’m sure relapsing happens from time to time.
Tommy Lee just sitting there not having any idea what a book is
I agree and a guy who dropped out 11th grade and had a horrible childhood. Nikki six is a very bright guy. I believe his real name is Frank Corbetta and if he had a great childhood, I could see him being like an engineer make an 80 grand a year instead of the legendary rocker so he chose the right way, but wow And you gotta love Tommy Lee just have no idea what’s going on and some of these questions I would just say it’s just the pain. The pain is laughter, laughter, and pain. Not a big deal.
@@RB2331his real name is frank feranna
Nikki said “I just got the book somewhere, ha,ha,ha. The man was so uncomfortable back then with everybody knowing he’s a freaking genius. Intelligence is🔥! And this man is on 🔥
Exactly.
Motley Crue dont read. They just look at the pictures.
Nikki Sixx? Genius? Huh?
Yikes. No.
If you think he's a genius, I would hate to see someone you consider mentally challenged
When I heard someone say Motley Crue's next album was called Theater of Pain, I thought wow! That sounds so RAD!!⚡🏁🥁💥🎸🎤🎶⚡
Watching now is definitely a theater of pain
The first song I heard from Mötley Crüe I was hooked! These guys were on a WHOLE another level definitely the best band to come out of the 80's #1 in my book! From "Too Fast for Love" all the way to "Dr. Feelgood"
Motley Crue where/are a phenomenon. That doesn’t just happen, you can tell Nikki is just so clever by the way he speaks.
It happens when you have a massive promotional machine, professional songwriters, and a major record label president as an uncle.
@@rickjag4928 it happens when you have will and you’re lucky to find support. By lucky I mean having been there in the right place, they put out amazing performances and the fans know that. It wasn’t just promotional/advertisement, they music was/is balls to the walls
No phenom. Motley was just a hair metal band
Not really.
Cleaver, determined yet still a cry baby who gets what he wants, yet he doesn't get the bass! 🤣😂🤣😂
Translation: “Nah man, don’t get it confused: we’re not an intellectual band, it’s all about the money, sex, drugs and Rock N Roll.”
AND The Devil of course
Heroin is a hell of a drug
Yes it is
You can tell that this was during his darker years in 1986/87, I'm glad the guy got help and is healthy nowadays
Good for you bud...I went through some issues with pain meds due to my bad back after going through cancer treatments and I went through the same thing...I'm always happy to hear of people who made it back.
My experiences with it is mainly due to family and friends who didn't make it back from their addictions...
Sure woulda sucked if he hadn't pulled it together..Sixx is an alien, has to be!!!
No one except maybe Gene, seen that the real money is in the marketing of the Crue,Nikki seen this even before he realized it...Love ya Man...
@@Brock_Landers I’m currently struggling but I don’t wanna be this way forever
@@joellopez499You can get through it 💪
I love me some Nikki Sixx!! Loved him since I was a teenager 🤭🥰🤘
I'd forgotten how pretty he is! That smile ♡
GORGEOUS
He is such a gorgeous man. Him and Vince both.
Even today he still is
Nikki Sixx is a BEAST! 🤩
Saw MC about 6 years ago with Alice Cooper the supporting act. What a beautiful night that was for rock n roll heavy damnit metal!!!!!❤❤❤
Got to see The Theater Of Pain in Augusta Ga with Autograph opening for them. Great show.
I saw them in New Orleans on that tour, my first concert.
I saw them in Augusta also.
Great album. Show was awesome too. I was there
The first tour I saw them on with Cheap Trick supporting!
Alexie sayle I love him
I think Nikki's real name is Frankie Ferrano, which is an Italian surname.
feranna, not ferrano
Frank Serafino Feranna from Calascibetta, Sicily (tuscany too)
@@MrHamzaaa Best cuisine on the planet. Delicious
Frank Carlton Serrafino Feranna
He's a beautiful Italian.
Nikki Sixx is a helluva creative dude.
LIFE IS A DIVINE COMEDY 🎭
I JUST WANNA KNOW TOMMY!
HOW MUCH AQUANET IN ONE ☝️ WEEK?????????
Motley Crue amazing🤟🏿❤️❤️
Saw them for the first time this past weekend and they rocked!
😂😂😂 I feel terrible for people who spend their money on today's incarnation of "Motley Crue," and they've always been my favorite band growing up. These days, I'm embarrassed to say they are my favorite band. 💩
The divine comedy 🎭
He's a wonderful ❤️ critical thinker.
No.
@@jareds9863 Yes, Nikki is super smart. He basically created glam metal
For Nikki it's All about the Devil
I love you Nikki❤❤❤❤❤❤
Nikki is the best member of the Crue.
I love nikki he is so talented and still sexy and smart keep rocking
The crew I love them listen to them since the 80s they are and I always have been one of the best groups
I love motley crew, into drugs or not everyone messes up in life, at least they told the truth. And made a movie about it. I love and respect them for that. One of my favorite bands growing up! And I still listen to them.
That's Alexei Sayle interviewing.
Ullo John got a new motor, remember that one kid👍🤗🤗🤗..he didn't usually interview so I'm trying to think what TV show it was ..🤔😆😆
Nikki sixx was too intelligent for drugs and alcohol.
Most addicts are highly intelligent
An addiction has nothing to do with intelligence, if someone has depression they will easily fall for drugs.
@@Al-kb2xl the trick is to not stop taking drugs
@@Al-kb2xlas a former addict I can confirm this. I was always a fairly smart guy myself despite my emotional handicap. Addicts just have this hole in them that they try to fill with dope and sex in order to forget they have that hole in the first place. But I will say that some of the deepest and most interesting conversations I ever had were in my years as an addict with other addicts. I think maybe the problem is that addicts feel too much. We are usually very sensitive ppl and we can't process all that emotion properly so we try to use drugs as a dampener.
Motley crue is, in a way, a very Italian band
I think I like, Home Sweet Home ,very much😊
I love the Theatre Of Pain cover.❤
Don't go away mad was a Sugar Smacks commercial.
Takes a special skill to be on drugs 24/7 and still that creative and well spoken
He meant to say the divine comedy;
Which is an Italian dark literature book. pretty historical piece.
DOCTOR MARTINS DOCTOR MARTINS DOCTOR MARTINS BOOTSSS!!!!!!
Where are you getting that from? Nikki Sixx boots are biker boots with a buckle. Ain't no way in hell they Doc Martins
@johnhareiel5118 he's referring to the presenter
@roverboy4244 thank you sir!
Alexei Sayle ❤❤
❤❤❤❤❤
I love nikki
Tommy looks like Richard Ramirez 🤣🤣🤣
Vince Neil said he was very disappointed in this album and didn’t like it because the songs were weak.
And he was right
They fu&ken Rock ! I got there too fast for love Demo tape when they jus came out . Like 1980 , from Niki Sixx himself with Tommy Lee in Hollywood when things were Roc n Roll , yeahhh mannn. !
It's a bit more like Metallica St Anger, Van Halen Diver Down or Judas Priest Turbo. Motley Crue did lots of covers. I used to crank Theatre of Pain, Shout at the Devil, Too Fast for Love, Ratt, Venom, Van Halen, Dokken, Ozzy, Maiden, Metallica, Sabbath, Dio and Scorpions at the swimming pool in 8th grade
@Colbert Almus ... They changed a lot. Their early stuff is heavier.
@Colbert Almus Venom, Celtic Frost, etc., is way heavier than Motley Crue, but you hear the same attitudes about chicks and being dropouts and similar riffs from all 3 bands. Even Anal Cunt does a cock rock records based off early Motley Crue. One of the songs is Kickin Your Ass and Fuckin Your Bitch. That's exactly the Motley Crue mindset.
My favorite album and yet they hated it
They hated it because of the amp Mick had to use for recording also Sixx hated Smoking in the Boys Room while Vince pushed for it. Its also them going away from that heavy metal sound. I liked Theatre because of all the blues influences
Did he say “Italian Comedy”? So he was talking about Divina Commedia …
I have that album
He is ageless out of all the band mates he looks still young
Ah….when Motley Crue…..was Motley Crue.
I think I really love Nikki and Tommy look f'ing cool in this era, with their always sleepy, druggy eyes🤣
Theatre of pain...My favorite one🔥🔥🔥
Mr. Bolovsky!
“Fuck montley crue!!”- Lars
O Dios tanta talento 🎉 seres maravillosos 🎉👏 👏 👏 👏 🎉
Extremely artistic...
Bro was a genius that was never given a chance so he made his own 🤌🏾🦊
Art comedy literally
comedy and tragedy. how original. what a genius
ニッキーは自分の永遠の憧れロックンローラーです。
こんな生き様を自分は出来ない分ニッキーにはこれからもMETALの王道を歩んで下さい。
Nikki Sixx is a very interesting man. Crazy as hell in his formative musical years, but pulled out smelling like a rose! I’ve read his book. He is a miracle. Death knocked on his door a few times. I find Nikki intellectually attractive!!!!!
The Italian Comedy
if you pay attention, at a certain point you can listen to him saying "you know"
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Motley Do !
Giving an intricate explanation for what Nikki and Co. really did, which was rip the album title off from Christian Death's 'Only Theater of Pain' debut album that came out a year earlier.
Love Nikki sixx❤
Nikki Sixx was the brains of the operation..and lyricist. Mick Mars was the master of the sound. Tommy and Vince were largely the image of the band. Not the smartest guys but they had the looks and personality for sure. Perfect chemistry when all put together.
The real theater of pain is anywhere they
Fake singing, and playing!!! and people go pay for this?!?
ALEXI SAYLE ?! YES !
He’s such a toolbox
He's so handsome 😍
I like sos even though it does sound very similarly to another song of their's
Nikki is awesome...his book the heroin diaries was an amazing read...he didn't have an easy childhood glad he was able to make great music and sober up to live his life to the fullest
The LP was gonna be called "ENTERTAINMENT OR DEATH"
when Doc heard that.... he got it tattooed on him SOOOOO they changed it!
Good job Frank.
This is when he was on the H hard.
Criminally underrated album
Nikki was sitting in the pizza place next to the Rainbow on Sunset....he was staring out the window...I just left him alone.
Before he was completely full of BS
fuck yesh Nikki sixx
Yesh! I love yesh!
The luck the timing n everything this band has happen...Crue is just a fun band
Cool
I thought that idea was wicked!
Anyone can say he’s not a good bassist cause it was faked but remember that it’s reported he got genuinely distraught after finding out the band would redo his bass lines with someone else’s, he genuinely wanted to be part of the band
Nobody gonna talk about the end?
🥶
YOU HAVE GORGEOUS IDEAS SIR THANK YOU
GOD BLESS ALWAYS
PHILADELPHIA USA 👍👍❤️🏞️
Nikki sixx😍😍
Wild side!!!
"Theatrical" is what is missing from modern rock.
Alexei Sayle speaking to someone actually famous
Maybe not true but as the story unfolds I guess he had no idea how to play the bass guitar till the doctor feelgood album he told the record producer he needed bass lessons because he didn't know how to play. They used a different method of getting the records out. Like I said might not be true.
Is that Alexi Sayle asking the question
Sure looks like him
That's the super from the young ones
Mmmm Nikki ❤😊
My bass player toured with them. Fyi
Theatre of pain was so much better than Hello john gotta new motor? The interviers only song...
Alexi Sayle!
