Utterly amazing!!! ONE of the very FEW Off-gridders (that was smart enough) that either built a barn or it came with the property!!! Can keep your tractors other equipment out of the harsh elements. You'd be surprised at those that just leave their equipment out in the weather and watch it rust. Another mistake most make is the not TOTALLY preparing for the animals they import to the property. Security and a safe structure to house and protect their animals.
Just started my third round of watching your videos to take up the time between Friday's videos. :25 was my first hunting clue, on the wrong mountain. lol :)
Great intro Patrick! I think this will be one of my favorite channels. Just kidding, it's been my favorite for a long time. Congratulations on completing the spur cabin! 😁
Good afternoon!! like to say hello to start!! We came across y'all from your small cabin builds. We, our selves are on to one of next steps to our future homestead build. If you see any of our latest videos, you'll see our progress. We plan on utilizing a few of your methods in our construction. Be sure to know, we will give you credit to what we do. Really like what y'all are doin up there!! Cheers!! J & C ps. Colleen is from Canada pss. We like your inclusion of the watcher of your video!! Great interaction!! J & C
I grew up in Washington state, I assume you are in the Northern Cascades. I left for the Army when I was 18 and have never moved back, Not sure I can with the cost of living there anymore. I miss the Beauty and come back to visit now and then.. We now live in Michigan and its just as beautiful minus the Mountains, but plenty of Green, Trees, Lakes and River's. Good luck to you both!
Ah nice! Luckily, where the cabin is and the coast are two different beasts of a state. I get it! Thanks for watching and checking in. I appreciate it!🙏
You said at the beginning that those buildings are not off grid but the way you describe the location, it sure appears to be off grid. Just wondering which public utility goes out that far? Beautiful views.

Ah thanks! We've never been fans of a cluttered homestead with rusting machinery.
Beautiful property and scenery 🥰.
I tend to agree! Thank you so much for the comment.

Excellent! I’ll take a look.
Thank you for watching!🙏
Lexel will work excellent if you ever want to seal those windows for air drafts or moisture possibilities. It will stay crystal clear
You inspire me!
Likewise!
Nice job Patrick.

Beautiful property
Thank you! Yeah, we love it. Hopefully you'll see more!
Hey neighbor, there are other people here maybe a long way away but I hate to be discounted? We are just a mile from heaven.
Just started watching your channel. I was curious what state you're in. I know that you said you're just 3 miles from the Canadian border.
Washington. Thanks for watching!

Thanks! Yeah we like the views and remoteness, for sure. The main “cabin” is on PUD electric. I appreciate the comment!
Is this in Central Oregon? I used to be a firefighter at Sunriver Fire and Oregon Dept of Forestry/Sisters Unit... this looks like "home"
Looks a lot like that area, but it’s NE Washington. Thanks for watching!
Right now I live at about 7,544 feet (2,299 m) in Alamosa with peaks over 14,000 feet (4,300 m)⛰
That’s up there! Thanks for watching.
