Utterly amazing!!! ONE of the very FEW Off-gridders (that was smart enough) that either built a barn or it came with the property!!! Can keep your tractors other equipment out of the harsh elements. You'd be surprised at those that just leave their equipment out in the weather and watch it rust. Another mistake most make is the not TOTALLY preparing for the animals they import to the property. Security and a safe structure to house and protect their animals.

Ah thanks! We've never been fans of a cluttered homestead with rusting machinery.

Just kidding, it's been my favorite for a long time. Congratulations on completing the spur cabin! 😁

Lexel will work excellent if you ever want to seal those windows for air drafts or moisture possibilities. It will stay crystal clear

I grew up in Washington state, I assume you are in the Northern Cascades. I left for the Army when I was 18 and have never moved back, Not sure I can with the cost of living there anymore. I miss the Beauty and come back to visit now and then.. We now live in Michigan and its just as beautiful minus the Mountains, but plenty of Green, Trees, Lakes and River's. Good luck to you both!

Ah nice! Luckily, where the cabin is and the coast are two different beasts of a state. I get it! Thanks for watching and checking in. I appreciate it!🙏

Hey neighbor, there are other people here maybe a long way away but I hate to be discounted? We are just a mile from heaven.

Just started watching your channel. I was curious what state you're in. I know that you said you're just 3 miles from the Canadian border.

You said at the beginning that those buildings are not off grid but the way you describe the location, it sure appears to be off grid. Just wondering which public utility goes out that far? Beautiful views.

Thanks! Yeah we like the views and remoteness, for sure. The main “cabin” is on PUD electric. I appreciate the comment!

Is this in Central Oregon? I used to be a firefighter at Sunriver Fire and Oregon Dept of Forestry/Sisters Unit... this looks like "home"
