Moving BIG Dirt with two Komatsu 1250's

- Two Komatsu 1250's staggered bench loading...oh and a caterpillar 24h even makes an appearance.
The two excavators are working together in the next phase of a subdivision, that's why there's houses close to them.
Fun fact: I built the first section of this subdivision in 2015 when I used to work for Kidco Construction. This is also the same site where I filmed most of the Hitachi 1200 videos I did in 2015 and 2016.

Where do you guys have the 773s hiding?
I noticed a lot of komatsu excavators, some Hitachi, very rarely a cat. Why is this? Do you prefer them over the cat excavators? Or is it an availability issue? Just curious.

They have at least 30 cat excavators, there was a cat385lme on the other side of the site but it was parked.
Oh and I'm not sure where the 773's were hiding but I'll find them next week
I used to work for kidcos basement Division a few years ago, was told kidcos big iron comes from the mines they don’t buy anything brand new if they can help it. Probably why they got komatsu and hitachi 1250s/1200s. What Evers at auction. That 1250s probably on its 3rd engine by now and probably it’s 5th hydraulic pump. That’s what kidco does.
Komatsu excavators are cheaper and more available
Surprised this would be the way for residential. I mean surprised they didn't just play with existing grade and make it work the best they can hahahaha
New england subdivisions are rarely without major slopes and grade changes!

The operator is not very good
