sousou no frieren animation managed to capture the feels when i read the manga, the voice also exactly same with what i imagine with when reading the manga, the animation it self is simple but rich of background like in the manga, so far no story got cut or skipped

For me, Nolan is probably balanced.
I guess, the CC escape in ult and the probable unli dash might look overpowered, But remember.
Just like all assassins, he falls of the late game and are SUPER dependent in teamfights.
He doesn't rip through tanky heroes too without defense or dominance ice cream if vs sustain.
So i guess this is my build and emblem.

Endless Battle
Brute Force Chestplate (or BOD for more attack)
Immortality (or Malefic Roar if there is 3 or more tanky enemies)

Prioritize 1st skill and max it, and take advantage of the ultimate, since it is a huge kit for escaping CC effects
Also, since his CD is so short, you might still need to go for the CD reduction items since you will need to spam skills a lot because Nolan is a Skill dependent hero.

@suhaylazmin9112 Nolan has a crushing early game aaaaaand that's it? No more after that. Lancelot is a mid game hero, he needs one item or two to shine but falls quickly. Ling is a mid to late hero, his early is kinda ass as he deals little damage. Nolan is pure early, he's extremely squishy even after building sustain items. His damage scaling isn't that good except for his passive, which becomes hard to trigger after mid game. Tanks and fighters can properly counter him.
If you think it's easy to just go for the mage or adc, kill, and then go out I guess you play on legend or low mythic, since in glory it gets a lot harder to do so.
after play against nolan a few times i can tell that its really strong in almost any composition. but he can be countered with one shot heros so i think its ok, but probably gonna be nerfed soon

I learned so much from Beto . I used to struggle to go to legend rank with less than 50% win rate. This season I had 80% win rate while reaching legend
high damage plus a blink skill, and if your a jungler which i usually jungle you can make the big stamina issue into a small stamina issue, sounds like a great pick
Imo nolan is strong against an enemy lineup that are slow and dashless
But if the enemy lineup is tanky and is quite fast they can easily escape from his rift and lower his DMG output.
Also preferably you have a tank roamer in your team since Nolan doesn't have good sustain
Absolutely agreed with you.. Nolan is just Fanny with low mechanic skill,, he always needs purple buff before going to fight/war.. High tier players will find it easy to counter Nolan... But if u playing solo just lock him with Hilda from the first start

I used saber as roamer with dire hit and the 3 hit dmg against him and I was aiming for mostly him and it worked out pretty good in my opinion

Finally, I've been waiting for a new video since nolan was released.
It's always nice to see a new beto video full of new things I want to try and see if I can up my game but jeez the toxic levels are insane especially since I'm from South Africa the other players are just toxic I understand I just play to have fun and meet new players doesn't always work

Tbh Nolan is probably the best early assassin so much so that enemy can't catch up or farm, although he's really lacking if he doesn't get blue buff and it goes late game(est. 21+ mins)
he is the easier fanny blue buff then u just spam first skill second skill and enemy jungler dead but he also not good against tanky jungler/ comp I just remembered and plus his late game isn't that good falls off hard late
I think he’s a pretty solid jungler for solo Q, but you need a guarantee for late game in your team if you wanna use him (aldous, lesley, cecillion)

I am okay with Nolan being designed as an early-game hero. Although he is strong (I've fought Nolan a few times), he is weak against a tankier composition and can fall off hard in the late game.
Honestly, I tried him and it's either I steamroll and help end the game in ten minutes, or I struggle hard and end up having a lower grade because of how the enemy team builds and rotates against me, regardless if I win or not. There's no in-between.
You are correct. Cant fight tanks straight up. Gotta wait for enemy tank to fight someone else and then sneak them with your ult
This character was blowing up my estes at almost full tank build through ulti and double heal. Doesnt look early game to me
@@alankatsiyev3249Estes is pretty paper thin on base durability to balance him out. Also CC tanks like minotaur and Khufra are much better against him.

Ive played a few matches with him and from experience you should only use his ult to either finish off someone or escape. Using it mid combo puts you really far away and makes you waste 1-2 energy bars just to get back to them. You could use it to jungle as it has a really low cd. And to answer your question ive "watched" frieren, although not the anime, but a recap of the manga. I didnt even know it was getting animated, i just found it randomly and watched it before everyone started talking about it.

Minsitar ult triggers windtalker on ALL 4 of the little dudes
So you can basically build windtalker , haas claws , berserkers fury , dragon spear , blade of despair and 1 def item of your choice
Combine that with fury battle spell and you can get a savage as long as you pull all 5 enemies

6:27 it should be skill 1 then empowered passive basic attack which will trigger his passive faster then for other combo u can ur ult right after that to guarantee ult hit kill. This way ull have 4 more charges for u to dash away if it was a trap there

I really like Nolan. Mostly play with a semi tank build.
You can easier manage his energy by only using skill 1 for jungling.

Nolan is a promising hero, however, his energy costed a lot. Though I tried to mix skill one and two and make a combo, i still somehow lost a lot of energy. Btw great video as always
You need to make use of two things: his Enhanced Basic Attack (EBA), and his ult. These basically gives you a free Rift, and any Rift explosion that hits any hero gives you some Energy. So with a good combo that starts with EBA and uses the ult somewhere in the combo (ideally when you need to remove CC), that's a lot of Energy gained.
Also blue buff is pretty much mandatory.

Early game he is unmatched. But he scales terribly. By mid game, he basically becomes a roamer running around chasing buffs and escaping ganks. Benedetta owns him so hard it's crazy

I actually Nolan was the best Assassin when I first played him but when I actually started using it continously then I notice that he gets countered by every other Assassins and Fighter, he was too squishy and has no life steal, even if you build endless battle it mainly didn't work for him that's why I didn't used him and just let the enemy pick him cause I notice him being easy to counter

No it ain't done lol...blue Armor doesn't provide def and Nolan isn't a hero who's depended on a huge burst dmg, he burst them down by multi DMG.😊

Cuz this hero is absolutely dependent on blue for energy, and except for early game he's absolutely useless in late game.
