@@Theryanprim we got a ludwig black magic because our old snare was literally falling apart lol and my church and i are recording an album hopefully this summer which is also why we got a new snare and cymbals

You are more than welcome! I would for sure try tuning your resonant lugs to 400hz And then try messing with your batter head lugs 250hz-263hz and listen to that range. Should give you plenty of attack and a big sound
Resonant head lugs 400hz or higher Batter head 255hz or higher I’d suggest experimenting with what feels the best and use your ears for the final product! Hope this helps
