It's a city like any other. Videos only show you the beautiful parts because if they don't, you stop watching them. They don't show you the many rats at the Eiffel Tower, the pickpockets in the main streets of Paris, the scammers robbing you of your money and the rundown parts of Paris. The drug addicts, the graffiti areas. Tourism videos and RUclipsrs will never show you what discourages you to come. They sell you a dream, never the reality.

Do shops over in Paris charge more to tourist for things than they do locals? Because I have watched videos were tourist get charged more money for something and a local doesn't.
