I was DYING to hear one of these in a good demo, thank u, J
John, excellent demo as usual, you really are a great guitarist.
Man!! that's some pretty sweet playing there!! What control on the jazz bit around 5:40. I dig the guitar too
John absolutely KILLING it on the slide!!!!
if you wanna see a Fano destroying, Adam Hann with The 1975 is well known for playing it in concert.
I like the offset top ,
How is it compared to the American made fano guitars?
It reminds me of some kind of Fender guitar. I forget the model. Coronado if i'm not mistaken
Star Caster. Wrote before you WATCHED didn't you? (& yes, you ARE mistaken!)
@Better Days That's what I said!
1000$ for a Chinese made guitar? Tough pill to swallow... then again it’s all about the care and QC in the factory.. I paid over that for my strandberg from Indonesia and it had less QC issues than my USA Gibson Les Paul standard..
More likely Mexican made.
@@DMSProduktions no. China..
@@KTGHATS Ok.
@@KTGHATS definitely a china made guitar which made me not buy one for 1K it’s crazy
Gibson and Fender seem to have completely given up on any quality control. I bought a used 6 month old Fender 50’s Strat and have yet to be able to even play the damn thing because the fret buzz across the entire neck is that bad (even with a high action and no truss rod bow). My mistake for buying off of ebay and putting my trust in the seller.
I contacted Fender asking how this was even able to pass quality control. 3 weeks later I finally received a reply. The rep was of no help whatsoever and wouldn’t honor the original warranty.
Not to mention the skinny E string being so close to the edge of the fretboard that it was impossible to avoid the string from slipping off when doing even the slightest vibrato. Which cost me $100+ for a replacement bridge (Highway One) with tighter string spacing. It was basically the only bridge I had to choose from. Just trying to figure out what the spacing specs were took hours of research due to a typo on Fender’s site.
My Epiphone Les Paul has buzz issues as well, though is a nice guitar regardless. Luckily I got a good deal on both axes, though I’m thinking I may never purchase another product from either company again. Not unless I can try before I buy, like with a $90 Epiphone Tele I snagged a couple years back. It’s pretty sad that it feels better made than the $700 strat.
Unfortunately there are no good guitar stores near where I live. At least Sweetwater performs a quality check and offers returns.
Was that Amazing Grace blended into when the saints go marching in? Sweet stuff! These are cool!
It was Will the circle be unbroken.
Damn cool looking guitar. I actually like the body shape a little better than the classic 335. Sounds awesome, too. And while the MSRP of $999 is not cheap, it’s reachable.
Always enjoy your playing John....
Sounding like a nice Staple Singers Gospel.
Guitar Nerdery! You need to copyright that John, it's classic!
What? Amazing grace?
audio's kinda weird on this one
I thought it sounded good, clear and accurate.
Agreed
Audio is weird
You're right - voice is being picked up by lapel mic and the one on the amp for a weird doubling effect...
thats just a starcaster with a tort plate m8
Should of made 43 mm ( 1 11/16) nut...not 42 mm 1.65
Omnis is made in china, right?
Yes and made well.
@@yungstaben7675 cause i have gf6 alt de facto, looks very much same but the price is huge different, just wondering how quality is?
@@jameskim7189 I mean you’re never going to get the same quality as one of his higher models. But I think these are excellent guitars even for their price, which seems to be too much for some people here, but prices are going up on all guitars so 🤷🏼♂️
You lost me at Chinese.
Tonaye [Typed on an ipad.]
$1000 seems high for a chinese made fender knockoff . Compare this to an Epiphone ES335 ...
Actually this plays better than an epi
Made WHERE? No thanks.
It’s okay to be wrong. It’s not okay to be a snob though.
@@yungstaben7675 It is? Oh ok cool! Thanks Yungsta! I appreciate it! Is it cool to say “life’s too short for cheap bs instruments made by people in the third world”? Just thought I’d ask since you’re the arbitrator of “ok”!
