- After popping off a radiator hose in my last video I needed to refill the cooling system. I decided to flush the radiator with distilled water first before refilling with coolant to ensure any dirt and debris is removed from the system.

Glad you got the tractor back up and operational. Good, concise video.
Thanks 👍
Forums are great, but as you know they can be filled with a lot of opinion, which is fine if people state it is their opinion and not present it as fact. I try to refer people back to their manual because if they have a warranty issue, the manufacture won't care about what forum/website we get our info, they will ask if you followed your manual. Thankfully, tractors, especially older tractors are fairly hardy vehicles and can take a lot of abuse. Great job on getting the Kubota back into service and ready to finish the job.
Been putting mine off for a while now, partially cause forums are so goofy lol. Thanks for the simple vid
I just use the Kubota brand that way I have no worries about any of the other junk people say. I can just say I used kubota brand antifreeze. it was just as cheap as any of the other plus peace of mind.
I don't disagree. I wanted to get back to work ASAP and the Kubota dealer was closed Sunday. This stuff did the trick.
You always make it look easy!
Thank you! Cheers!
Any green 50/50 anti freeze will work. 👍
Getting pretty handy at that stuff. LOL
Yep. I like working on stuff even though I'm generally clueless about most of it. Haha!
Nicely done, Phil!
Thanks Ed!
Good job Phil sounds like you did your home work
Thanks Russell. Yep, and everything went according to plan. Back up and running now
Yeah the forums are pretty much useless if you want a straight answer.
👍👍
50/50 Antifreeze Buy premixed in gallon containers.
How much coolant do you use and what is mixture ratio in litre?
Phil remember that coolant can attract animals but is deadly to them...
Good advice. I already got mine bottled up and ready to return
@@WoodsTreeFarm I knew that I had seen your poochie with you out there on the farm.
I have a question, where do you get your pre cut trees? We are really having a difficult time locating trees this year
