Went from losing 2 matches in a row to winning 4 in a row. Came to this video and geez, I was right. Never run up to an eddy, thats how I got my ass handed.
If you're playing Jin make sure to abuse his B2,1 (and F4) and apply decent pressure on him. Whenever he goes into Handstand, Jin's magic 4 or B2,1 can launch him. Don't try too many Zen mixups or he will interrupt them with B3,3 or a low. Don't do too many Electrics against him as well, too risky. Hoping to help my fellow Jin players.

when eddie is going into relax he is considered airborne for 14frames, so as josie if you block 3,3 you can float for a juggle with df4 or 3,3... the 14frame airborne state is the reason you sometimes see mainmans ws4 float for a juggle sometimes, while other times it just knocks him away.

eddy player here, its better to do lows on HSP because there is the armor move. characters like king are amazing because stuff like df4,3 that hit relax also :P Also many lows hit that HSP Sidestep (HSP u~ or d~) also
I just pick king and do the “shin kick stun” attack..shoulder bash...shin kick again...shin kick again...If he Is blocking and Im close Im going for the step-by-step grapple maneuvers.
i dunno if anybody mentioned it here, but i had some trouble with Eddy's u\f 3 to Low mixup, so you can't block the low hit with just pressing d - you should press d/b
Thank god when i go to the arcade place Is a Place K On my country in the arcade and play tekken 7 someone whose always there and if he lose he uses eddy so thank you i finally beaten that guy
Mained eddy since T3. Is u might get lucky on relax with a float if it quick enough to evade a 4, but to come up against someone who knows all his 50/50s in real time good luck. Pressure is Eddie's enemy n that's all

You have to work so hard to counter him. While he can just spamming and will get out with it. Launcher in to relax is fucking unfair , you get hit you die , you block you get chip of damage.
Wish he woulda picked a differenet character, Eddy is balanced af in this game, and really tbh a complete non problem. Give us the anti Raven, law, heihachi, Akumer, ect. the characters a lot of people dont know the gimicks of.
