I bought one for my x749 and absolutely love it. Install was easy and spot-on. I was sad to take it off to put on the snowblower, but rest assured, come spring, I’m putting it right back on!
I built fork lift forks for my quick hitch, I can pick up trees from the ground, small pallets, garbage cans. the trees need to be balanced good, having the hydraulic angling cylinder on the hitch is handy for maneuvering and balancing 10' chunks of tree.
Great video let the haters hate.. I just received my grapple from Mark at innovation tractor attachments Thursday! Did a mock assembly but still have to move the bottom cylinder. Hoping the grapple goes lower after I do that.
Thanks for this video. I was wondering what had be relocated to get the cylinder to operate the grapple and your video was clear on what had to happen. I just got a quick hitch for my JD 425 yesterday and will be ordering my grapple from Innovative soon.
Completed the rebuild of my 1993 engine recently, got the quick hitch mounted and my ITA grapple should arrive any day now. Thanks again for the video and review.
I love the option. I personally have a sub compact but if u already own an X series this is a solid option for what u currently own. No reason to go out and buy another tractor just to take care of the “every now and then stuff”. I do question how much stress that places on that front drivetrain. But John Deere sells this ready from the dealership with a front hitch and snow blower package so if it can handle that weight and stress then this should be fine for the average homeowners occasional use.
that thing is amazing and makes a small tractor more useful , although you should turn cylinder around so you don't bash your hose fittings. But a really good video!!
Jesus, all the hater comments. That grapple looks like it work work great on my little 10 acre abode. Glad I found this vid. so the front quick hitch attachment is the trick for future attachmennts like this?
I have a x738 and I have been cleaning up a 12 acre woods. I have been doing most of it by hand. I was thinking that a x738 would be too small for stuff like this. I was looking at a smaller compact tractor and loader.
If Toro had added a little more to their 5xi garden tractors there still might be a Toro garden tractor on the market today. They should have had a locking rear differential and had optional a rear 3pt hitch and remote hydraulics. But I have 520xi, 522xi and 520Lxi and I don’t have any major complaints about them.
Chain sawing and moving trees with a John Deere is man's work. Digging shit up in the woods with a grapple is more fun than sex... As long as I can still move I'll do it!
Is the quick hitch something I can purchase at the dealership at the time of purchase or is this an after market product? I’m interested in an x758 with that grapple. I own rental properties and need something to cut all the properties and clean up. That grapple looks like a god send for my uses. I currently sent a troy bilt mower in for service, but I might just sell that and get this!
Buck Shots, I bought an X739 about four years ago and when I bought it they would put any attachments on just for the cost of the attachments. A three point hitch is also a handy option to mount accessories. I would buy another X739 in a minute!
Ya...about that....I actually wasn't forcing it. An even more basic chainsawing tip: When you get a new chain, make sure the gauge of the chain matches the gauge of the blade.
Hello great video. If you don't mind you didn't say the price. And shipping costs. If you don't mind could you email price please . Thank you my name is Eric. Have a great day.
It does have a rear PTO. It can fit anything a 1023 can except a backhoe and it's about half the cost. So if digging is important enough to pay double then sure, however if not then the 700 series is phenomenal.
Anyone know if you can buy the grapple without the hydraulic cylinder I want one for my garden tractor and would be using a heavy duty electric actuator.
Yeah, absolutely what is the poorest visual instructions of how to attach that Grapple. Your body was in front of the entire part where you were hooking the hydraulics together.
Chuck, I have an EXCEPTIONAL lawn mower. I also use it to blow snow. I also have a blade that moves snow, dirt, whatever. And, this grapple. For sure, a compact (or bigger) tractor has its uses--just not enough of them around my place to pay the additional money and sacrifice the quality of the mowing.
you really have no idea what you are talking about. This is NOT a glorified lawnmower. This is a garden TRACTOR. Be a little more informed before posting things that you have no clue what you're talking about

I have an x595; you sold me on buying this grapple! I'm in, thank you very much for sharing this video,,,,,,,😯.
Usually lawn and garden tractor attachments are useless but this one is actually pretty great.
Had no idea this existed. Very cool product! Thanks for posting! 👍
very nice demo of the grapple, thank you for posting this.
That thing is awesome. Waiting for delivery of my X758!

You forgot to say it's CUTE! I have a Everything Attachment 55 root grapple. didn't know these were available. Nice demo.
Great video. On my list of attachments to get for my X739
So many uses, I have exposed roots in my woods, I put the corner of the bottom jaw under the root and it pulls the root right out.
Thats a nice little grapple for the x-series. Thx for the video.
impressed with what it can carry
beautiful video great job too one day I hope to be as good as you
that thing is amazing and makes a small tractor more useful , although you should turn cylinder around so you don't bash your hose fittings. But a really good video!!
Great vid man! What type of rear hitch do you have and how many rear weights do you need?

Nice demo of the grapple.. but when chainsawing, let the saw stay revved up and stop trying to force it into the cut.
Ya...about that....I actually wasn't forcing it. An even more basic chainsawing tip: When you get a new chain, make sure the gauge of the chain matches the gauge of the blade.
Is this the only attachment made by Innovative tractor attachments?
Great video, thank you. One notable exception: safety glasses used to record video, but not while using chain saw. Not a good idea.

Does that thing have a rear PTO? I think I would have spent my 10-15k on a compact tractor that can do that plus much much more.

You actually use the angle cylinder from I don't see why you couldn't use an actuator in it's place.
Yeah, absolutely what is the poorest visual instructions of how to attach that Grapple. Your body was in front of the entire part where you were hooking the hydraulics together.
Wow. A 2000 piece of equipment that can replace a 20 dollar chain.
$530 to be exact.
Jason Hannsz, and you’re not dragging it across your lawn and tearing it up!
What a waste of money.. You need a compact tractor or bigger for something such as that...you have a glorified lawnmower
Chuck, I have an EXCEPTIONAL lawn mower. I also use it to blow snow. I also have a blade that moves snow, dirt, whatever. And, this grapple. It’s actually a tractor lol that thing is a compact tractor idiots

Chuck Polhamus yea your clueless!!
