This came up on my feed today so I watched. I love seeing carding because the results are always fascinating. I would definitely try this. Thanks. Blessings.

haha. My husband and I had a chuckle! But really, can you have too much? That's a legit question. It makes everything prettier, and too much is never enough ;)

I love watching your spinning and weaving videos it has always interested me but the start up costs to try it are just to high I really enjoy your videos and seeing different things you make and how you get from "fleece to fabric"

Thank you for watching! I sort of just pushed this one out quickly, so it would be timely for those that just received the silk. The yarn was soooooo pretty.

I'm a little obsessed with this. I also did some silver gray romney with the super hot pink and it's glowy pretty. I would love to see what you do with your silk!

Too much silk is like too much chocolate...no such animal! I, too, have projects on every wheel, and loom, and more than a few needles. I think we just like variety in our creative lives! That did turn out gorgeous...is that the CVM you washed not too long ago?

I like the way you think! The CVM was a fleece from the same order, but a different fleece. I bought four like the glutton I am, so it took a long time to wash it all. I really don't understand why CVM isn't more popular for hand processors. It's so fine, but not hard to wash or card. More for me! (Not that I need more)

Great idea! I have an upcoming video of unboxing my newest wheel, but then I will make work of that video idea. I'll do an introduction ;) Thanks for the great video idea!

I'm going to do an unboxing of the newest, then I'll do a roundup later haha. I separate them into every room of the house so it seems less like a herd.

Your carder tynes are set a little too close, that is why it is making that dragging noise and is harder to turn than it should be. Try setting it where you can pass a piece of paper through it without puncturing it, this is how it should be set. thanks for the demo.Cheers, Jenny.

Thanks! I put a new belt on it fairly recently before I made this video, and definitely did not get it adjusted correctly. I will definitely check and see if I ever did adjust it after that. I usually only use it for sampling, so I may not have even used it since then.
