    0:55 for row 1, I accidentally left out the word “BEFORE”.
    Row 1: Hdc in the 2nd ch from the hook, hdc in the next 4 ch and BEFORE you finish your 4th hdc pick up color B and pull through the last 3 loops on your hook, *hdc 5 and before you finish your 5th hdc pick up color A and pull through the last 3 loops on your hook, *repeat switching between colors every 5 hdc until you have 5 ch left. Before working in the last 5 ch change the yarn color as you have been doing and sc in the last 5 sts. Turn your work.

      Hi ​@@koroalana3278 this is so one side, the sc side, is more narrow than the rest of your work. This is gonna be the top of your beanie you‘ll sew together.

    I’ve never crocheted in my life, but a saw someone with a really cool beanie the other day, and I could’t find it anywhere on the internet. And this is the exact pattern. Thank you, I really want to try and make it. I’m gonna go buy som yarn soon and try❤️

    I tried few patterns from your website but this one is the cutest project i made! It took me around 8 hours, 3 day stretch. And used up 2 ball of yarn 50gm each color.
    I crochet this one for my younger brother, i hope its fits!

      @@riabeenfye i just keep repeating the steps from row 3. When you change the color like in row 4, count 3 rows then change the color. .
      Follow row 3 ( 7:37 ) when you're doing the 3 rows
      Follow row 4 ( 9:44 ) when changing the color sequence

      @@riabeenfye just put a stitch marker to the upper part of your beanie (the one you will close) so that you would know when will you decrease (the 5 sc)

    hi, so after the 4th row should we redo the steps in 3rd row or continue exactly like how the 4th row starts? i'm confused whether i should continue the 5th row with regular sc or regular hdc

    how did 42 rows fit around your head? im on row 44 (11 squares so far) and it barely fits half my head... (im using a 5mm hook and medium weight yarn!!)

      you did 14 squares which should be 56 rows

    I am making this pattern now (lovely instructions, by the way!) but I am having an issue with the colors bleeding through when I crochet over the contrasting yarn. Any idea how I can fix this? Tried tightening my stitches but it didn’t seem to make a difference

      dont carry over the previous color and accept that you will either have yarn spaghetti on the inside of your beanie or a ton of ends to weave in

    I have a qn, after row 4 ehen we have to do more rows and u said repeat rhe procees u mean we repeat step 4 or we repeat step 3 and 4, coz in step 3 we start wih 4hdc while for step 3 we start with 4sc. Am kinda confused and also u said change colors after 3 rows i dodnt understand that part. Can u pls expalin I'm excited to finish this product.❤

    Hi! I love this beanie and am trying to make mine as best possible. When changing between colors , I can still see the other color in the other stitches. The way I am laying the other color must be wrong, any help would be appreciated

      Hi idk if this will help but I had the same issue, but; when crocheting with one of your colours, you must pull the other colour that you aren't using, this will pull it through and make it less visible, I hope this helps x

    Hi! I have a question: you said to chain 46 but then to me a chain remains, is it okay or did I do something wrong?

      You may have forgotten to skip a chain at the very beginning of your first row? So you hdc into the second chain from your hook

      @@andreeaniculescu1447 for me I had that problem and then realized I counted one two many stitches when I made my chain and redid it and it was fixed.

    ok, im being frs, i did everything very carefully, did the exact same measurements as u, 46 stitches vertically, and 42 rows of it, but my beanie is literally newborn-baby-sizeddd 😭😭😭😭

      She responded to someone whith same quastion in instgrame! She said she used about 90 grams of yarn so of you have 100 grams of each color ot would more than enogh! Hope this helped=>

      It took me two days, but I wasn’t working on it full time. Maybe around 9 hours? But I did go pretty slow at the start as I was trying to follow the pattern closely but when I got the hang of it I moved much quicker

    How to increase and decrease? Whats the meaning of 'by group of 5'?

      You have to increase or decrease making more or less chains, but only in groups of 5 because if you decrease/increase chains in a lower or bigger number, the pattern won't look even. Hope this helps!
