  • TagBand is a skin tag removal device that removes skin tags. It gets to work by stopping the skin tags blood supply.
The TagBand tool is designed to be used on skin tags on the face and body and it works fast to eliminate skin tags from small to large in size.
The included cone is placed over the skin tag with the removal device pushing off the band. The attached band will tighten onto the base of the skin tag where it will remain until treatment is complete. The band will fall off with the treated skin tag leaving just a small blemish.
For more information visit: www.tagband.co.uk/ or tagband.us/
Skin tags are small benign, skin-colored growths that are very common in areas such as the armpit, neck, groin and genital areas. Skin tags are not cancerous but it's important not to mistake your skin tag for any other conditions such as warts, moles or other skin conditions. A skin tags blood supply is vital to its growth and survival. TagBand uses a small band to cut the skin tag's blood supply. TagBand has not been designed to be used on skin tags on dogs and other animals. TagBand should only be used on humans. There are a few other ways you can remove skin tags, one being oils, ointments and skin tag removal patches. Tee tree oil and apple cider vinegar are often used to try and remove skin tags as a home natural remedy. This supposedly works by drying the skin tag. Another way to remove skin tags is by cryotherapy, this works by using liquid nitrogen to freeze the skin tag. Once the skin tag has been frozen successfully skin tags generally take two weeks to fall off. Cryotherapy can be effective but this can be a dangerous procedure and it's best to leave this kind of treatment to Dr. Pimple Popper!
Q-Can a skin tag turn into cancer?
A-Skin tags are made up of skin tissue, fat, and nerve cells but they rarely turn cancerous. These growths are non-malignant in nature and people get them removed for aesthetic reasons
Q-Do removed skin tags grow back?
A-Skin tags that are removed with full success almost never grow back at the same place. However, if the root cause is not treated there is a slight chance of their growing in other parts of the body.
Q-Can you use wart remover to remove skin tags?
A-Yes, wart removers with salicylic acid or liquid nitrogen can be used to remove skin tags. Salicylic acid helps in destroying the tissue structure of the skin tag and has to be applied twice daily until the tag dries off and falls. Liquid nitrogen-based wart removers work by freezing the skin tag after single application after which the skin tag begins to shrink and drops off within two to three weeks.
Q-Are skin tags a form of HPV?
A-HPV (Human Papilloma Virus) increases one’s risk of developing skin tags. Those who have skin tags should get themselves examined if they suspect the virus to be a cause of skin tags and take necessary treatment to curb the possibility of new skin tags.
    Q-Do skin tags hurt?
A-Skin tags are painless but tend to hurt or bleed if they are twisted or get injured. Skin tags located on parts of the body that are prone to external trauma or friction may cause a lot of discomfort to the patient and should be removed to prevent them from getting injured.
Q-How much does it cost to get rid of skin tags?
A-If you wish to get your skin tags removed surgically by a doctor, the procedure may cost above £90 but with advancements in medical science, at-home skin tag removal kits like Tagband have been made available at a fraction of the cost of most surgical procedures.
Q-Do skin tags come off on their own?
A-Skin tags do not come off on their own. To remove them you need to take help of surgical procedures, at-home removal kits or natural methods to destroy the cell structure of the skin tag.
    Conclusion
Skin tags are a cause of stress for many people because of their appearance and the discomfort they cause. If you wish to get them removed, you should first get the growth examined by a doctor to ensure that the growth is a skin tag.

I bought it almost a year ago and it was worth every single penny. I had a skin tag almost the size of a grain of rice above my eyelid pointing downward. Anyone looking at me could see it plain as day and if I wore my glasses it looked even bigger. I used the micro-tag band and within three days it fell off.
When you put the band on occasion you might feel a pinch, but as long as you resist the urge to scratch or rub it, it's all good.
One day when I woke up I felt a little pinch, and there it was laying on my bed still inside the band. It has been almost a year without the slightest signs of it ever even being there or coming back. They give you ten micro bands, but you should know that they are so small that you might think the little container they came in is empty and accidentally lose them when you open the container, so be careful. Again, worth every penny.

I tied dental floss around the base of mine and then used Dr. Scholl's freeze away for warts to speed up the process instead of waiting and by day 2 it was gone and then I would apply the freeze away a couple of times a day to the area where it was just to make sure I froze the base to the point where it was not coming back. It worked perfectly.

I had a huge wart-like thing on the back of my neck - had it for 20 years, getting bigger every year. Was embarrassed getting my hair cut and often the scissors would catch it and cause it to bleed. Bought this thing and used two bands and within 5 days it was gone. No scar, no pain. That was 5 years ago and it never came back.

  • @Elizabeth-se5ez

I successfully removed a big old skin tag no blood no pain no scar. First I took a strand of my hair from a brush and tied it tight around the skin tag. On the fourth day my skin tag was black in color but still wouldnt come out so I used rubbing alcohol to dab onto the skin tag. This caused it to shrink very small. I waited one more day put some more alcohol and grabbed the hair tied around the skin tag gave it a little pull and it just came right out. I have no scar I felt zero pain and it was so easy I would do it all again.

I used this and first off I did experience a bit of pain/discomfort. I had two large tags on the back of my neck and once the rubber bands were applied, I could feel a continuous pinch. Both tags became sore to the touch but within a few days they shrunk and turned black. After they turned black I thought they’d pop off any day but they didn’t so I ended up snipping them off to relieve the irritation. They didn’t hurt when snipped - I think because they were already black and dry. I waiting five days and in all fairness the package states that they will come off in one week but the constant irritation when my shirt brushed against the skin tag with the rubberband was enough to make me bail early and snip them. I hope this helps someone whose interested in using this product. especially if you’re more patient than I am.

Just use a small chip of dry ice held in a tweezer, pull the tag out from your skin, hold the dry ice against the base and it will gradually freeze through it and it basically just snaps off. *Dry ice method only works well on areas you can easily reach with both hands*

Great idea as it does work, but you can achieve the same tying it off with some basic thread which of course allows you to tighten it as much as needed according to the size of the tag. The rubber band on this gizmo is limited to how much pressure it can produce to cut off the blood supply that kills the tag. But nevertheless very nifty idea!

This is good because you can do it yourself pretty much anywhere on your body where a hair, floss, etc would need another to tie a knot and this seems alot more sanitary, but I do wonder if the tag gets sore before it falls off?

    • @bi1iruben
      @bi1iruben 7 лет назад +3

depends how large the tag and its pedicle base are, but yes likely to get mildly sore (the actual bulk of the skin tag will become numb as the nerves die too, but base on the near-side of the band may be tender)

You can achieve the same result having someone tie a knot around it with a long piece of hair

Its easy to remove skin tag. I remove it by hair. Just simply tie it with hair near the skin. Tie it properly so that it will not remove. After a day you can see the tag is become black in color. And in the 3rd day the tag will be remove. I did it many times. But don't pull it by force😁

I wish this gadget had existed 20 years ago. I used miniature side-cutting pliers from my electronics toolbox, swabbed the wound with rubbing alcohol, applied pressure until the bleeding stopped, then applied a self-adhesive spot bandage with some antibiotic ointment. The skin tag never returned, but TagBand would have made it simpler.

  • @starmessenger
    @starmessenger 3 года назад +3

I have always just squeezed them between my thumb nail and index finger for about 5 minutes, to cut off the oxygen supply. It's somewhat painful for about twenty seconds and then goes numb. The tag becomes purple and withers and falls off in a few days. But I hate sitting there, often in uncomfortable positions, just waiting to the time to pass, so I would love being able to simply put a solution or a band on a tag and be done with it in a few seconds. I have my doubts about this method though, because it seems like it would only work on a narrow range of sizes.

I have one where the little rubber band keeps coming off. Now afyer placing the rubber band on, I'm using one of the little sticky patches to cover it up to hold the rubber band in place. Hopefully that does the trick. It's under my arm so I guess when I was moving my arm the friction caused the rubber band to come loose.
