- I made this video this morning. Maybe I'll talk about my interpretations as to what the song means in another.
Tell me if you know of any differences that I didn't mention! I'll put it in the description.
At 6:14, there is no chiptune backtrack in the RUclips version.
The youtube one is the exact reverse of the album one.
yes sir.
so basically the difference between the album version and the youtube version is the album plays the vanilla version backwards then the distorted version forward and the youtube version plays the distorted version backwards and the vanilla version forwards. I honestly prefer the youtube one now that i found it
The bridge hits way harder on the album version though
at 2:37 you can hear "insane" played forwards, when in the album version it's played backwards both times it appears. This means maybe the video version is just the entire song in reverse??
yep! :)
:D
I know this video is 3 years old, but after 6:17 one more noticeable difference is that there is a synthetic or 8bit-like melody in the album version, it's very noticeable at 6:57. The youtube version only has some drums I think. Also I loved this video since I like the way you compared the differences with this song haha, thank you for making it🖤
Edit: my dumb self realized you already noticed it in the description, my bad! here, take a cookie and thank you again
Maybe a "Noticable Similarities" video? By that I mean similarities in different songs.
I heard both the youtube version first and was so confused when i heard it on spotify
omg i always just assumed the differences was because one of them was completely reversed compared to the other?
It is
you havent had the full mind electric experience if you havent listened to the backwards half. At the same time who the fuck listens to the backwards half
this
@@polocatfan ok
Me because I'm insane
i do
me
At the point where you say there are no more noticeable differences there is one more that I can hear, the album version has the sound of metal being struck by something (presumably hammers) starting at "see how the serfs work the ground" and ending just before "doctor I can't tell if I'm not me" that isn't present in the youtube version
Kind of a late comment i guess but isnt the instrumental at 6:14 different in the youtube version?
Oh yeah, seems like you're right. Description edited.
@@RCFox I know this is REALLY late but you could mention that said Chiptune sound is the labyrinth synth slowed down slightly
