Fishing Knots: How to Tie a Duncan Loop Knot

  • The Duncan Loop is used for connecting your fly to the tippet. Also called a Uni Knot, this fishing knot is quick and easy to tie. You have an option to leave the loop open or lock the knot down close to the eye of the hook. I consider this one of the best fly fishing knots that I use most of the time.

      Thanks @Kakashi Angler. This is my main knot when connecting my fly to the tippet. I find it easier and faster to use than the improved clinch knot. Have you ever tried using this knot?
