'And now, today, we can add medical facilities to that list,' Warnock added, a reference to the May 3 mass shooting in his home state of Georgia.

Very true no one is safe. My friend got beaten up this week . It's so bad that the damage is painful . He done nothing as he was in the news agent shopping for me as I'm disabled & he looks after me. Now he can't help at all but I'm worried for him as he isn't doing well at all. He nearly died.

It's definitely not normal, and it's far from ok, but it has become routine... that's why it's not as shocking as it should be. We have had more guns than people and more mass shootings this year than we have had days.
In America ("the greatest country on Earth") mass shootings are as common as sunrises and sunsets.

OVERTURN THE SECOND AMENDMENT AS ITS NOT INTERPRETED CORRECTLY (they say 2nd amendment means unlimited right to own guns despite the fact it WASNT created for that reason)
@@boiii3productions945 if you look at the supreme courts conclusion from the 2008 case, you’d know they state that it does allow Americans to own modern day firearms. They state the militia part and the “right to bear..” statement, are two different statements. They even reference that if one to argue that they are not two statements, then the 4th amendment would need to be amended as well per the verbiage.
Sensible gun regulations. Not bans of guns altogether.

When you open the news in the morning and you see stories of another mass shooting in the USA it’s gotten to the point where you just shake your head, say a silent prayer for the dead and survivors…..and move on. It has become an everyday thing now, like and horrid accidents on highways that innocent people were killed…..the increasing yet another utility or rental bill…..it’s become the norm, which is so very tragic! Changes need to be made in the USA because the country has become broken and split between parties, no one seems to care anymore, at least the ones in positions to do something.
We have sold the souls of our children to protect a gun. We have sold the souls of our families and friends to protect a gun. We have sold our sense of security to protect a gun. We have sold our ability to find reasonable and potential solutions to protect a gun. We live in a world of fear in a country where there 4 x more guns than the population, so frozen with fear that fools believe arming every citizen, every teacher, every child is the answer. Texas is considering a bill where 3rd graders will be taught army medic field training to apply chest seals if their teachers or classmates suffer a gun shot wound where sadly the odds are they will have to be identified by the shoes they were wearing. Wake up America. Wake up!
Just read the bill.. nowhere does it say anything about giving children military training in trauma situations..
The bill ACTUALLY STATES, district and school personnel (employees) would have blood trauma training. This would be included with their CPR and high-stress situation training.

Did you read the first line and skip the rest, especially the part that says" (4) require the district or charter school to annually offer instruction on the use of a bleeding control station from a school resource officer or other appropriate district or school personnel who has received the training under Subdivision (3) TO STUDENTS ENROLLED AT THE CAMPUS IN GRADE THREE OR HIGHER." In the next portion of the bill, it outlines the supplies that must be in the bleeding station which includes chest seals which is a far cry from a band aid. Chest seals indicate penetrating trauma to the torso you would encounter after being shot by a weapon that was designed to do the most amount of damage in the shortest amount of time on a battlefield. Why not address the real issue that could put a child in this situation to begin with?
