- As we move more into 2025, cloud gaming is growing but slower than expected or slower than I personally want. According to cloud gaming leaders, cloud gaming is made up of about 5% of all the gaming industry. That could grow even more this year as Microsoft and Sony increase their support for the cloud. But there is another problem with this - more and more games are blocking VMs or virtual machines from running games. Will this be a problem going forward? Let’s talk.

I personally couldn't care less about all these multiplayer games being blocked on VMs as I only play singleplayer titles.
Hopefully game developers will think of a way to solve this problem. After all, they also lose part of their audience by blocking users on VMs

I think they don't want VMs playing the game because of cheaters. This is lazy anti-cheat.
Once cloud gaming become the norm in the future. It will become very hard to cheat the traditional way. Because the game is not running your computer. It's running on a server with no other access. Which mean you can't alter files, or add .dll files.
They will have AI cheats though. I can't think of a way to stop AI cheats. Unless we have an AI, to detect that you're using an AI. Based on movement and aim style. Then cheaters will create an AI, that tries to mimick human aiming. Then they will have to create AI to detect if an AI is trying to aim like a human 😂🤦♂️.
Yea AI cheats will probably be the future. Sigh
Well, I tested PUBG and Delta Force on AWS servers, and they are actually working perfectly fine. Apparently their anticheat is not detecting AWS configuration as a VM. Also I believe that all games with Battleeye anticheat are working on AWS services. Unfortunately Vanguard remains unbreakable.:(
Yea AWS works for a lot of these games. Not sure if it has something to do with their servers or certain deals they have made

Not possible....jamnagar is at the edge of india bordering pakistan which means ppl in pakistan will have 20ms ping while other parts of india will have 100ms ping :).....jamnagar datacentre is mainly for commercial purpose for industrial use..... nvdia gaming data centre will sure be located near somwehere mumbai, noida or chennai

Yes. Many of the games I mentioned are in maintenance for this very reason
Well actually I can play games on boosteroid through shadow on xbox. I think it's hilarious playing last of us and spiderman on the xbox. My friends were like wtf?

I think we’re good. Epic wants Fortnite on all approved platforms so I believe Shadow will be set
its complete horseshit to block from geforce now. I bought the dam game I can play it however I want. Not sure wtf the issue is. I still have to pay full price for the game unlike crap like game pass. To be fair those games you mentioned are total shit anyway.

i quit cloud gaming 😑 because of nvidia geforce now very terrible experience these day geforce now give me stream too lagging my wifi is fast but they not even give me 30 fps without fluctuations fps goes 15 -30 in every single game because of this bug i left 😑😑😑 they not even give constent stream fps ( not game fps) i play 2/3 years but i don't think so cloud gaming is future too many problems and bugs
