We moved from the US to the UK many years ago, and now bought a house in Italy where we will retire. It is amazing to experience different places and cultures by living there for an extended time, not just a 1-2 week vacation. Being outside our comfort zone is an incredible growth opportunity.
Italian lifestyle is about enjoing simple things around you with the people you love. The time you spend with your loved ones is the most precious resource you have, and the only thing valuable of celebration. So, what? Let's make some good food 😋
Meh..you have a romantic concept of Italy, probably you have seen too many Hollywood movies.. Italy is a G7 country with cities like Rome, Florence, Turin, Genoa, is the second industrial manufacturer in Europe after Germany and the third economic power.. i mean..you can find a slow life in rural Italy as much as you can find it in France or Germany..
@@Gianluca- I agree, you can find a slow romantic life anywhere. You can also pick out all the negatives and ruin the fun, but I’ve decided not to do that. Life is better when you see the glass half full!

It wasn’t exactly how I would do things either but they don’t have the same kind of land and space that we do in the states. There’s still lots we can learn and connections we can make from people that do things differently than us. 😊
