Amen 'But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;' (Matthew 5:44)
What I have done is try to find something positive about them and send a card making note of that finding. Example: I have a “friend” who can be difficult, but, when someone needs help she is the first one there. That is her God-given gift. I let her know that she is a blessing to others (through my gritted teeth!). She is one of only a few people who always thank me for sending a card. 🙂 Seems to calm both our spirits.
Thank you for the fabric ideas! And the advice. I have found with toxic people in my life, praying God will help me see them as He sees them helps tremendously. I see the problems. He sees the hurt. It doesn't fix the situation but it does change my heart. ❤
Being kind and forgiving can at times be a one-way street, but it's how you behave that matters. Not how another reacts to your kindness. The Lord sees your actions. You are then the light.
I sew and quilt. This is an amazing new technique with a boat load of possibilities in my craft setting! Thank you for sharing these beautiful cards. ❤. Wow, you just took me to a whole new level!! God bless you! Prayers always help!
Fun fabric ideas!! And great life advice!! The message, “Be kind!” So difficult to come up with that on our own when dealing with a troubling person who’s making life complicated. Definitely a nudge from the Lord!!
Anna - I am definitely one of those "many craft" people. I have paper, fabric, cross stitch, and yarn stuff. Now, if only you can design a card to help me use up that yarn... LOL.
I can’t help you use up much of the yarn, but I have a small bit that I saved rather than donate. What I do with it is instead of using ribbon or twine on a card I will tie a bow with yarn. Especially cute on a baby card!
I appreciate your sharing the cool cards you created with fabric. I worked with fabric many years ago (certainly before dies were popular!) but not recently. But like many crafters, I still have it stored in a drawer. For those that want to try it you can buy a small pack of fabric squares or if you have a fabric store nearby they may sell bags of scraps. Your video today made me want to revisit those fabric techniques on my cards, and try your new ones. I love the time you take at the end to share personal stories or perspectives that are helping you in your life. I also have a very serious situation in my own life that has gotten harder to deal with because of how long it has continued (among other things). In the beginning I was kind, because that’s who I am. I have lost much of that along the way. And although I don’t think it will solve my situation, I think I will try my best to return to that kindness because sometimes we have to do these things for ourselves. I don’t like how angry I have become. Sometimes you think if you treat a person a certain way they will act in a similar manner, but unfortunately that isn’t always the case. And maybe it’s not their intention. But after listening to your video today I am going to try my hardest to return to the kindness and thoughtfulness I showed in the beginning, because that is who I am and who I want to be. And I will just continue to pray on the rest. Thank you for sharing, thank you for your encouragement, you are very special. 😊 May your days continue to be blessed as you are a blessing to so many others!
Love this idea Anna, I have fabric scraps n my stamparatus, excited to try this today, and be kind was the message I got this morning too dealing with a difficult person 🎶💚
I just bought a pack of Forzacx scrapbook paper that looks like lace fabric.... I'm anxious to get started on some new cards!!! 🎉Yay🎉 I also love the fringe edging...really adds another dimension to it!! @ 5:20 you could also use scrap paper in a rectangle basic shape on top of fabric to give a popped up look or as a background.... so many choices 😊 I love using stickers for my sentiments ..you can purchase rolls pretty cheap. Oh my @ 6:00 adhesive tip is a GAME CHANGER!!! Could also use foam strips Dollar Tree has them They've really increased their creative section... I was surprised to see they had clear stamps, glue dots, & cardstock scrap packs!!! So so exciting!! The confetti stars would be cute on your cards toooo. Thx for some ideas Posted Oct 3.2024
I hear what you’re saying about silence reaction. Jesus says lead with love 💕- hard to pray for someone you’re angry with. Right? Kudos to you for working so hard to be a better you.
? Do you mind telling me the brand of thr smaller die cutting machine I see over your right shoulder. I have a 8 inch opening one and looking for a smaller one. Is that a 6 inch or 3 inch?
Another adhesive that will work is Fabric Tac. I have found at Walmart also works good on papers that are hard to adhere.
Love the cards! Your ‘be kind’ advise was what I needed today-thanks😊

It appears that you are a gift to your friends too.
Anna - Have you ever used paper napkins on your cards, like the fabric?

Double side adhesive sheets work good for fabric.
Such beautiful card Anna. I’ve used fabric as a background but never die cut before. Going to give this a try. Thanks Anna!

Heat bond works well for adhering fabric to paper or other fabric
Thanks for this video! I’ve been wanting to try this for awhile. Great timing
Love this idea! All your cards are gorgeous! Thank you for sharing! ❤️
Love the fabric cards, been thinking about trying that. Love your advice at the end.
thanks for the scripture! :-)
Great video I'm going to try this. I can't imagine you not being nice. We are human and make mistakes.
How about using wallpaper samples? Some have a paste. Anyone tried this? I’ve always wondered about it.
Where did you get the Trust in the Lord stamp?
Surprised its taken you so long to try the fabric. Seems just normal. I use the dies to cut fabric and use as embellishments on many projects.

It's sold by Stampin Up and I really like it. Here's a link: www.stampinup.com/products/mini-stampin-cut-emboss-machine?demoid=2138835
