We just got our 2024 EQB four days ago. First thing we did a day later was going on a 400km (~250 miles) roundtrip.
Car drives nice. It’s fully equipped with a list price just shy of €80k. That is absolutely crazy. Thank god it’s a company car. Our previous hybrid GLC with the same equipment had a €76k price tag in 2020. Make of that all you want.
The premium stereo is fantastic. It tales you through an entire sound profile set up (if you dare) during which it lets you set up the sound behavior of your stereo way beyond more / less bass.
Overall it drives nice. Top speed is only 163 kph (just over 100 mph), which is a bit slow for German roads. Rest of world would care, I guess. When living in the U.S. we almost never crossed 90 mph anyways. It pulls nicely all to the limiter.
But driving that fast will limit ones range. We got an realistic 240-250km (150-155mls) out of the battery. But that’s at all out German-highway-speed, which really means lots of hard breaking and hard acceleration. 😂
Charging speed at 100kw/h is rather suspect, but well…
Our son loves the car, as it’s so quiet. Ride is comfortable with the premium setup.
Mercedes app works well. However, if you’ve ever owned / drove a Tesla you’d miss the full on phone-as-a-key feature. It always needs you to have the key on you, which a Tesla does not require.
One thing that’s annoying to me: no real one-pedal-driving. It does well up to about 5 mph, after which it just keeps creeping along. That could be better. Takes away from the experience when driving in city traffic. (I know, I am lazy).
MBUX in the 2024 is way more modern than in this video.
    That’s about it.

Was debating between this EQB 350 4matic and the Audi Q4 50 e-tron quattro. At the end the Audi was significantly less expensive, has more range and felt like a better EV due to its purpose built MEB architecture. The Mercedes wins in interior quality and material use, but in Canada where a loaded EQB 350 is close to $91k CAD while the Q4 e-tron clocks in at $78k, this is a no brainer.
