    I'm so happy that Цой is being introduced to English speaking people. I cringe a little by the prononciation but I am still overjoyed that this is a banger of a cover. Bardcore and Цой are a great match. Keep it up! You are doing awesome! Just generally amazed how by how much effort you must put in to singing in so many languages.

    I'm multilingual, my first language is Russian. Despite some pronunciation points, you did a great job, man. Slavic languages are INSANE to learn/reproduce. Respect.

I can give you the basis of pronunciation for a given period/region and I know people who would probably help translating and maybe restyling the text a bit!

      Nobody knows how "ancient russian" sounded, as it was a written-only language. Best he could do is look up Old Church Slavonic, which has prayers and all (and "anicent russian" is Old Church Slavonic with some random "simple" spoken Ruthenian words thrown in anyway).

    Curiously, you bring me back to the end or the eighties, when some russian rock reached my coutry through an incredible compilation named "Rocking soviets"
    There was a nice punk song from Kino, "Maman l'anarchie" (yes, all the titles had been translated for us ignorant frenchies). I remember me and my friends enjoyed to listen to it while roleplaying and wargaming.
    From you to us, what else but "Expect the unexpected"?

      @@the_miracle_aligner Hey, you spend a lot of effort to make it work such that you got a lot of languages down really, really well, to the point that those who speak the language natively only have a few minor quibbles, and they're moreso points where it's similar to an accent from another country that speaks the same language rather than being a foreigner who doesn't know it at all. You really need to give yourself more credit, man. You deserve all the recognition you've gotten, and more.

    Your pronunciation somewhat reminds me of middle eastern accent. But I gotta say, your speech here is actually cleaner than the one of most people from the region who learn Russian for work purposes.
    Hearing singers doing such things is amazing, though. Some time ago I've ran into something similar made by a german singer who also speaks English. "I had a few days and my husband's Russian mom to walk me through the thing". And now I find this. Dammit, you guys are cool.

    And a tip: траве (trave) is not pronounced with a Latin V, but as a W, so "trawe". I can't wait for your church slavonic renditions!!

    I am not Russian, but Ukrainian. Your pronunciations is very well (in some places almost like native speaker).Not many can pronounce "ы" or "ж" correctly.👏👏👏👏
