    I'm in Florida but thanks for the reminder to get out my reflectix window panels to protect against the hot morning sun. Also, when I don't have use of the cassette, I simply use trash bags in the van toilet, quick and easy. Thank you for the interesting video.

      That's a great idea to use the regular toilet. Love it. Safe travels!

    Maybe I missed it, but how do you wash dishes without using the grey water tank?

      Great question, we have a collapsible BPA-free sink we'll use in the Solis or in our Bean teardrop trailer. amzn.to/3vzrCVz affiliate link. We fill the sink judiciously with fresh wash water from our portable water jugs etc. It's more like camping and you will dump it at your campsite or a restroom.. Otherwise for our typically short winter trips we use paper plates and water bottles. Thank you for watching!

    Why can’t you use the toilet bag on the cassette toilet? That is what we do.

    • @roadstoke
      @roadstoke  7 месяцев назад

      That’s a great idea, another commenter here mentioned it and I’ve now tried it. Works great! The foldable toilet is a bit bigger and more comfortable but more hassle.

    Can you run the heater after winterizing the van? We have a Solis.

      @@CacheCanada Yes you can! You can use propane for the Truma heater even if you winterized the water lines. Have fun winter adventuring!

      Thanks for watching! By popular demand, I’ve put links for my favorite upgrades in the video description. The sink cover, and nozzle are there. Let me know if I missed anything. Safe travels!

    Where did you get your seat covers for the driver and passenger seats?

    • @roadstoke
      @roadstoke  6 месяцев назад +1

      I got the seat set from Costco. They’re decent, and we are on a second set starting our third season…

    Hell ! I'd be proud too to buy a $ 174 000 rig and not be able to carry any water and probably be able to heat the van for a good 48 hours?

      @@Paul-c2w Haha fair point! There are so many things about RVs that really don’t make sense. But man I love it.
      This rig was 120k out the door.

      @@Paul-c2w Nah, that’s just how MSRP works in RV world especially, it’s a marketing gimmick.
