  • Growing San Marzano Tomatoes is extremely easy for large, sweet, high yielding fruits
    - The San Marzano tomato is a tomato that is shaped like an elongated pear, similar to a bell pepper. They have great flavor, balanced sugar and acidity.
    - The ideal temperature for growing San Marzano tomatoes is between 20ºC and 30ºC.
    - Description of plant care includes 3 components. It is necessary to systematically water the roots of the bush, Tilt the soil around the tomatoes and dig the soil 2-3 times per crop. Tomatoes reach a height of 1.5 meters, so it is necessary to timely support and belt the bush.

    I'll prune like that this year, I always wanna grow the record plant but so heavy and the fruit crowd eachother and stay dark and damp so long I lose a lot.

    Do you have no pests or humidity where you live? Also I can't see that you just added egg shells and that's your yield you had to you something to give it phosphorus and potassium.

    Didn't know these could be potted from seedling to final pot/bag. I repotted mine. I'm UK based though it will probably work in my favour. Anyone have any tips on growing this variety in the UK?

      I think a semi-tropical type environment is needed, if you can maintain 20~30°C and 5 hours of sunlight.
      You can make a mini greenhouse for the same.

      It’ll still grow, but egg shells are good for the soil which will also benefit the plant

      Egg shells give a nice slow release calcium that is needed for stopping blossom rot
      You can add calcium with additives too

    А почему не показываете удобрения, на которых это выращено? Я дачница с 20летним стажем. Без удобрений ничего не вырастить!!!!

      Blossom end rot indicates a lack of calcium. But that doesn't have to be because there's not enough calcium in the soil, it could be that the calcium is there but the plant can't get it because of infrequent watering or PH issues.
      (Also, crushed egg shells are not going to cut it - these people are just lucky their soil and manure contained enough - you have to provide a source of calcium to your plants that's going to be bioavailable to them when they need it, so in a water soluble form. Those egg shells will take years to break down.)

      I hope that through your gardening joinery you learn to appreciate the many small details you can learn by watching demonstrations….. and learn how patience and time is a key ingredient in success. Especially in gardening.

      When I search a topic, I will watch dozens of videos to find the common ground in all of them and separate the wheat from the chaff, the knowledgable from the wannabes, those who are true educators and those who simply like to hear themselves talk.
      Speaking as an instructor of forty years who taught people how to NOT suffer crippling injuries or death in a machine shop/factory environment while they learned their trade, your video was worthless. Goodbye.
