    Thanks for sharing. My only extra expenses would be a backup generator and SkyLink for work

    That's awesome man. I been dreading working at my job in the US for another 7 years until retirement, but I found out that I could retire right now and get $1000/mo pension plus another $1100 from Social security in a few years. Been seriously thinking about retiring soon and going to the Philippines. Still researching and maybe I'll wait a few more years so I can have even more money, but I'm doing it for sure!

    Philippines is CHEAP if you live in the small towns of the provinces and you live the lifestyle of the poor people.
    Philippines is EXPENSIVE if you live in the major cities and you live a lifestyle of the middle class.

    How are Visas changing do you mean?

    • @bryandoesvlogs
      @bryandoesvlogs  11 часов назад

      Unfortunately they’re changing the amount of months you can extend at a time. It is cheaper and WAY MORE CONVENIENT/ COMFORTABLE to visit the bureau of immigration only twice a year. That won’t be the case anymore as every two months you would have to go your visa, and this will affect the price as well since you won’t be getting the savings by extending for six months at a time.

    I suppose you could live on USD 1000 pcm, but that is contingent upon what quality of life you want and the life you have chosen to live. My family and I live on USD 3-40000 pcm. We own properties, both residential and commercial, and have a decent income through rent and investments. We also run a few cars, and don't really have to care about costs. Ultimately, it comes down to what makes you happy.

    Anyone who watches YT or does any homework re costs of living in Asia etc must know that you can (survive ?) for under
    a $1000 in many countries but obviously you will have to sacrifice till it really hurts, prepare for a very boring lifestyle & don't
    mind being a homebody cuz you won't have $ to do most things you would like to. Also you'd better pray you don't have any emergencies like medical or dental etc cuz you won't have any $ left over..in all likely hood ? Surviving is NOT living !

    • @joelmonkley6177

      Not really depends on what your idea of living is some people live simple lives and are happy and are not bored without money. I'm afraid Money everything for you. 1000 USD a month is enough
