a bit late, but the transmitter has a switch on the back below a sticker where you can change it from child mode (which it seems to have been on here) to the fast normal mode.

What a great option for the price point! I might get a couple of these late spring for my nephew's B-Day so he and his dad can rip around the neighborhood

@@classicvwbugs I went brushless with the feiyue fy01 and it's great but you have to lower the rear to reduce the driveshaft angle or you'll be replacing them all the time.

@@billshafley6048 I got oil filled shocks from Amazon for dirt cheap. It’ll still roll if you go hard into a corner on grass, but on dirt it helped a lot.

Yes definitely a good little car only problem me and my wife have with ours is the drive shafts keep breaking and we get no more longer than 5 minutes of drive time after 6 hours of charging the battery I've ordered every dry shaft metal and plastic for this thing and snap them in half

Now, get a really powerful motor or even brushless and really rip it. Also, Ebay has some cheap but kinda ok shocks for this if you measure them and go by the MMs. Great video. Thanks for doing the great camera work you do. Extra touch is always nice.

Nice! What motor setup do you recommend? Kinda like a 144001 setup like I have done? I may have some other motors laying around. =o) Thanks for the kind words.

@@VallonesRCHobby Actually, when I was watching, I thought to myself they should have put the 144001 system in this truck. It would have really been awesome. That sounds like a good plan. Any really good 540, 550, and then to make a great video, bump it to brushless. MAYBE! Those shocks definitely need to be addressed and after you reach 30 mph, I would leave it at that. Dang, if you had the 144001 systems that handle 3s, and I think you do, that would push it along pretty good. Good luck. Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to you and your family Chris! Congrats on your channel growth as well.

Hmmm well 2 different styles of cars, the 124019 is a fast buggy, this is a solid axle short course truck that is not as fast as the buggy. Depends on what you are looking for.

    Is your moto broken in?
If your electric motor is a "Brushed Motor" then you WILL need too seet the brushes. The purpose of the BRUSH is in its name. The Brush or Brushes function is to ride along one side of the ARMICHOR. (which Is spun with layers of copper wire and conducts the energy produced by battery power). Normally Brushes are made of what looks and has the texture of a hard graphite or fiber plastic.
But is is abrasive. And it is by design.
By not allowing your BRUSHES seet themselves in the armichor. Then you risk damage, uneven Brush and armichor ware, reduce power by alot and unreliable motor function.
So with new Brushed motors it is strongly advised to break in motor i.e -seating brushes.
    To do this?
    ~If motor is waterproof~
    1) fill cup with bottled water.
    2) use 1 AA battery with alligator clip to connect +=+ and -=- . This will turn motor slowly and with a constant rate.
    3) place motor in cup, it is good to run for a few seconds first and make sure everything is going to work.
    4) run for 2 cycles and with 5-10 minutes each cycle.
    5) dry motor entirely and reasonable.
By this time you will notice an smoother and probably faster healthier running motor than before break in.
This is because the water acts as a lube for the brushes to seat..
This can be done without the water too.
Simply drive car slowly on a flat surface.
    This will also seat brushes.
    Good luck.
Hope to hear back from you.
