- I went here with the intention of losing this team, but Dismas proved me wrong. The Trinket I got is called Death's Head
On leaving Death's Door, heal 100%
This was second chapter, and I lost Barristan early on.
The luck there. Flag actually survived a Death's Door check.
Just in case you missed it, Memento Mori puts a fucking -50%(!) Death's Door resistance debuff on him. She *really* wants to drag his ass off into the afterlife.
Yeah I paused the video and saw he had -50% death blow, and even then both Dismas and Damien went on death's door to the previous fight, it's why all the heals were burned on Paracelsus. Truly had me on the edge of my seat!
You can't deny Mo- I mean Lady Death, it seems. Haven't unlocked Flagellant yet.
He's alot of fun, so much so that I think he might get a bit of a nerf because of how well he can keep people alive and stack tokens for Plague Doctor. Been messing with with a shuffle comp, Bonnie, Jester, Man at arms and Highwayman, no real healing though
@@panzerfritz6039 He does with Deathless in Scourge path. It heals 50% of its HP + 35% for an ally, which is HUGE!
Also in your fight you didn't take advantage of the "Toxic" state that flag has when reaching 10 stress, it would've healed him a lot!

Not only my first death encounter, but also my first resolute as well, Dismas did work.

I yelled RESOLUTE! I was super excited cuz I was almost sure Dismas was gonna die. Didn't even realize it could pick up my audio from a muted mic, that's how hyped I was. 😂
I love how she shows up whenever you kill
She comes to collect and then realizes

I like how death is entirely just for Flag but when seeing other heroes is like "Oh, more killstreak, cool"
Well think of the Flagellant as tax evading, except, it's death, everyone involved or affiliated with him shall suffer the consequences.

In a way, Damien is tax evading, except, it's death, and everyone has to suffer for it. 😂

Man, when you went to click on the plague doc heals when you didn't have any. I felt that way too close.
I've learn a lot since then, now whenever I bring the Flagellant, I prep for after the fight, whenever Death shows up, she ends up getting obliterated now.
Cause of Death with Audrey and Paracelsus stack blight while Damian yells More! MORE!
DD1: "On top of the standard bosses, I have a whole host of extras to spice up lesser encounters, each one more terrifying then the last! The Collector, the Shambler, the Fanatic, the Crocodilian, the Thing From The Stars..."

Remember you can skip your turn at low hp to heal a bit and take stress damage, it’s very important sometimes
I believe it can only be done once, as the prompt went away to get hp back for skipping a turn. The fight before this was Dismas and Damian getting back to back crit smashed by the giant swine, so they had already hit Death's door, which is why Plague doc had no heals left.

I lost a run because death came and took flag away. Couldn’t have been a worse time for her to show up
Death seems to be an opportunist, because ever since I've fought her 3 times, she seems to avoid me now 😂
Why did it seem like Death was after Highwayman then Flag? He was just going like "No! Your not taking me yet with a fight for your life!"
That pristine lure essentially made him Barristan without the block tokens, very useful for riposte, but yeah, death just did not like Dismas.
I really hope someone eventually makes fanart of darkest dungeon death. She looks so cool.
The right resolute still makes you go from despair to hope haha

Beat a 75% death blow resist and survived a 45% death blow resist, the fight before was two swine brutes.
He even tried to pose all cool after he seemingly stabbed death to death.

I wonder if there is more Death's Heads akin to Dark Impulses or if it got changed already. Today I got "+100% damage while on death's door".
There is more I'm sure, because she attacked me in the next Region, the other two I got were;
On Entering Death's Door: +1 Super Armor, + Attack, -2 Stress
On Entering Death's Door: +1 Speed, Stealth, -2 Stress
She really doesn't like me lol.

Paracelsus alchemist, memories:10% max hp, 1 more blight dealt
Damian maniac, memories: 10% stress resist, 15% move resist
Barristan sergeant, memories, 10% stress resist, 10% max hp

I think the lower your patty health is with flag in it the more likey death shows up. I used to think she shows up when its only 3 small foes in fight.
Death everytime it sees Flag be like: "This FUCKER AGAIN?!"
Meanwhile all my characters always die at their first death door

Bro, when i met the Death for the first time, i was like:
I mean I expected to lose this run since Barristan died in my first region, but now that I have gotten my team down to a science, death seems to avoid me at every turn, and when she does show up, she usually has 40 stacks of blight on her by round 2 🤣

Bro this happened to me a couple of hours ago and wiped my team
Yeah she is relentless, having bandages and holy water or clarifying salts is like a must if you have Flagellant in your team, since she does x2 damage to bleeding targets and her combo hits insanely hard.

How do you discover that boss?
The Flagellant has to be in the party, that's for sure, but the exact triggers are unknown. I've ran Flagellant with my Plague/Grave/Flag/Man At Arms, and haven't seen her.
Speculating, Flag has to have either low hp, high stress, or have hit death's door during a battle. Or it's just entirely random.
@@panzerfritz6039 its random - he shows up at resistance encounters after killing the enemies there (the cross sword locations)

I did have it, I burned all of it in the fight previous to Death showing up, it's even upgraded, but i also didn't have indiscriminate science unlocked either. This was very early in my playthroughs.
I did not expect Death to show up, so i used my heals all up.
