Amazing seeing these dogs at "work". My Corgie likes this video too and I think she's a bit jealous because we don't live on a farm. She paces back and forth yowling at the TV wanting to herd all the dogs or get in on the action! I really enjoy the videos and I appreciate what farmers do every day when I eat my food. Thank you for your hard work!
I'm italian and i'm sharing your videos with all the people around. They loving your work! These dogs are incredible! It's fascinating and hipnotic watch how they work so hardly !
Greetings from Australia, excellent video! Its great to see the Dogs working as a team, they do a great job to destroy those Rats and they had fun as well. Thanks again for the Vid.
just subscribed....awesome to watch the dogs do the business... they love it..how can I start doing this?..is there any clubs or local groups in the west Midlands?
Having that backhoe really helped your terriers be more productive, but the dogs are still the real stars. They're so quick...little four-legged bullets. Brilliant work, guys.
I like this method to eliminate the rats. I follow your channel from Italy ( sorry for my english) and here to kill rats farmers do a massif use of poison, not always effectively, maybe we should reconsider the role of the terrier in our homes. Thanks wait your other videos :)
+giux0x poison kills other wildlife besides the rat, even the rat deserves a quick clean death and dog is best. poison takes days to work, a couple of good dogs will keep the farm clear of rats and much better for the environment. Rats have been kept under control like this for hundreds of years where poison has only been used this last 100 years
poison is cruel, not as effective as they get used to it if its available all the time. AND it kills other innocent animals which people dont even think about!
True. Poison is bad. Think of other animals that are in danger. Wildlife, beloved pets. There's already too much poison in our soils and everywhere. We're litterally fucked up with poison. Ratting with dogs is natural and highly effective. And much more quick and humane than death by poison. I wish this cool method would be installed on continental Europe, too!
I’ve noticed sometimes the area is very confined and the dogs spend less energy on running after the rats only need to catch them. How is that set up? Is it done by you or by the land owner? Do you get paid from the land owner? How does that work for you?
Wow! I never realized that the Rat Terrier was bref for this. I had a Min Pin that would've been good with the right training. He loved to get the squeaker out of all of his toys and just maul it.
I don't know that we have "ratters" in New Zealand, at least not that I've heard of, and I just stumbled across one of your videos a few months ago and decided to watch it even tho I didn't think I'd have any interest in it, but I really like them to be honest, your dogs are amazing, very well trained and disciplined and seem to love their job. Very enjoyable to watch and good to see a recent video too as all the others I've seen were older and I was wondering what had happened to you guys. Not too fussed on the go pro though, the clarity is awesome but it's a little harder to watch than the older ones, i guess it has to do with the zoom. Still enjoyable tho. Awesome work guys
Actually now that I watch a bit more its probably because the camera man is actively involved in digging and picking up the rats etc so there is a lot of camera movement lol
for terriers, i think its natural for them, no training needed. In my experience, Our family have had a male Yorkie terrier, we did not train him, but every now and then, dead mice and rats were everywhere, even roaches. It was his hobby/passion. Our dog was very agile, persistent and patient. Maybe the training they needed is to be a professional killer, you know, let go of the rat once fatally injured and proceed with the next prey.
Fantastic!..I have had Staffords all my life who are fantastic Ratters but sadly they have no concept of self preservation. Here is a simple equation. Stafford + Rat in Greenhouse=Dead Rat and Demolished Greenhouse!
+plummerterrier2012 plummerterrior2012 your people are in trouble you got to help them its almost winter time so you got to get your dogs ready and pumped up because we got some rats to kill
+plummerterrier2012 what's taking you so long its winter season and you have to do more videos because your country and there homes are in trouble so kill them and rip them apart if you want more subscribers you have to make good content for the fanes who love these videos.
When the big machine came working I saw that you sometimes held your dogs in a circle around the machine and let them go as soon as you spotted a rat, that is one of the safest ways to do this. With dogs running around a machine like can end in incidents. So I think you did a great job in keeping things organized and safe
I also like the way your dogs work, they are working more independently and have independently thinking than other dogs I’ve seen doing the same kind of work. they all zoom in on one rat and they all go for just that particular rat -that way isn’t very effective
A very successful hunt. There is one thing I would like to know: What are you doing with al those death rats ???? Kindly regards specially to BELLA and all the other funny dogs
What exactly kills the rat when the dogs bite them? Do they crush their skulls? Or their lungs/hearts? Or does the shaking somehow make the heart/brain of the rats explode of internal bleeding from the G-forces? They die so quickly, and it's evident that it isn't puncture wounds that kills them.
Thor Klauson ......The quick shakes snap the spine of the rat for a fast kill.. The dogs learn that the rats bite back, so they kill them as quickly as possible.
Love the vids. After watching so many, Merlin, and Lola are true superstars. But the “pups” thorn and mini are catching up. Your dad on the other hand is slooooowww. Take it easy on him.
you guy come into youtube and start telling these men and women what to do. these people are doing a service to their community. FOR FREE, IF YALL DON'T LIKE WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING AT DON'T WATCH. THE NERVE OF SOME PEOPLE.I TAKE MY HAT OFF TO YOU LADIES AND GENTLEMEN FOR THE FREE SERVICE YOU ARE PROVIDING TO THE FARMERS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Like snap the rats leg so he cant outrun the dogs. The best method to do so is to put the rat in a cloth bag and BANG that bag on a hard surface, or you can manually pull or bend their legs but doing so will can be a bite risk.
+Mother Nature I'm sure it happens once in a while. A rat will defend itself as any animal. The terriers know that and try to bite the rat on the back of the neck just like a lion does a hyena.
Those dogs are working and having a ball at the same time.
how much time from planting rat beans to harvesting rats?
Who is having more fun...the dogs, the guys or those of us watching? What a hoot.
I like to think the rats are enjoying it also...

A massacre. That Bella is a champion.
Great sport. Thanks for posting. 👏
That must be heaven for those dogs.
and hopefully a nice chicken dinner after they had done their work
+Armand Rodriguez or hell

you are quite right, however, many have forgotten "the old ways" and watch their dogs just as pets not seeing the potential:).
poison is cruel, not as effective as they get used to it if its available all the time. AND it kills other innocent animals which people dont even think about!

If you prefer poison, by all means take some.
I swear, these dogs are living the dream... It's like their job is to go on a dog version of Disneyland.
Jajajaja adventurland
I love this stuff mate, please keep it coming!
Excellent day is that! What is it you are using to stop the rats going through the fence?
I’ve noticed sometimes the area is very confined and the dogs spend less energy on running after the rats only need to catch them. How is that set up? Is it done by you or by the land owner? Do you get paid from the land owner? How does that work for you?
I enjoyed every second of this video 👍
I wasn't having the best day, so I came to watch some old "liked" videos. An oldie but a good'un this video is! Turned my day right around!
I think using a camera on the stick gives better shots than GoPro on one’s head. Love your channel!
Just a suggestion . When you have a large clear area have you thought of using a plough ?
Wow! I never realized that the Rat Terrier was bref for this. I had a Min Pin that would've been good with the right training. He loved to get the squeaker out of all of his toys and just maul it.
Amazing! Very exciting to see these lovely dogs at their work.
put a Gopro on on one of the dags !!
Someone would have a seizure.
was the farmer able to work this space after your visit?

Now your dogs are brothers & sisters/ same litter?? Second question..... did you train them or was it theirs instincts
for terriers, i think its natural for them, no training needed. In my experience, Our family have had a male Yorkie terrier, we did not train him, but every now and then, dead mice and rats were everywhere, even roaches. It was his hobby/passion.

does the dogs accidentaly bite eachother?? hear them scream once and a while
The slowmos are epic
brilliant videos, keep them coming
Great to see them working out in the open, they must have been ready for a rest after a day like that?, well done guys.
Another cracking video. Terriers the ultimate pest control. You must be so proud of your dogs and it's nice to see young un's enjoying the sport.👍
I hope you make more because I don't want to see them forever so I want you to make the best ratting video on thanksgiving or ratsgiving
thanks for the new video plummerterror2012
Man those terriers can work. Makes you realise that 20 minutes walkies twice a day just ain't enough for these guys.
Really enjoyed the video great work
Damn, I love to watch the lads work.
Fantastic!..I have had Staffords all my life who are fantastic Ratters but sadly they have no concept of self preservation. Here is a simple equation. Stafford + Rat in Greenhouse=Dead Rat and Demolished Greenhouse!
Do you mind me asking, do you guys do this to make money? Or is a community/family farming thing?
We just do it to help out the local farmers
Ahhh awesome.
+plummerterrier2012 plummerterrior2012 your people are in trouble you got to help them its almost winter time so you got to get your dogs ready and pumped up because we got some rats to kill

Noting better than a few fully active squeaky toys.
It's like a treasure hunt! Too bad the volume is so low.
always a pleasure to watch your dogs working ^.^
very good dogs and thanks for the nice video.s

A natural way for eliminating rats.
This is not in the HD option.
What type of Terrier are they?
Plummer
What kind of dogs are
AT 18:08, the dog knows the huge tractor will uncover the rats. It's funny. He's like, yeah, move that dirt and let me kill some bitches....
That was fun to watch, good job! With all the action another camera should be recording.
I also like the way your dogs work, they are working more independently and have independently thinking than other dogs I’ve seen doing the same kind of work. they all zoom in on one rat and they all go for just that particular rat -that way isn’t very effective
so do you breed You're Hurting dogs ?
Awesome! My neighbor farmer really neglected and old chickenshead. All those rats are coming my way now so maybe I'll buy some of those dogs
GoPro HD 480P? o_O
○_○

I can't get enough of them little hunters. Are they Jack Russell Terriers?
They are Plummer Terriers

Camera shaking is maddening
you laughed so much...seeming to have fun :3
Man, this looks like so much fun. I love it.
Damn those things are nasty! We have mice here, but none of those bloody things... (at least not anymore)
A very successful hunt. There is one thing I would like to know: What are you doing with al those death rats ????
Kindly regards specially to BELLA and all the other funny dogs
what type of dogs are they
ok I thought it was rat terriors

Rose James I see.
Thor Klauson you ask a question then answer it all in one sentence
awesome video 720p would be nice though :D
I think my ancestors must of done this type of job, I feel so relaxed when I watch this. Weird
are the dogs received a special training? they are very smart dogs..my dog wouldn't let the rat go when he kills it..
how much do you get paid to rat out a farm ?
👉With this Gopro camara I can't apreciate too well the images, because the vibration👈
DAMN THESE terriers do one hella of a job.... what do you do with all of the dead rats?
is one dog bleeding
I hope you upload a video iam still waiting
My guidance counselor never mentioned this job. Best job ever.
Love the vids. After watching so many, Merlin, and Lola are true superstars. But the “pups” thorn and mini are catching up. Your dad on the other hand is slooooowww. Take it easy on him.
awww, these dogs are having a good old time
В какой стране это происходит?
Severn valley is in the west of England
Bella is my all time favorite!
I imagine the dogs get bitten. Are they in danger of contracting rabies? The dogs look like they’re having a great time!
this was awesome!!!...more please!!!
I'm wondering what they do with all the rat bodies...I assume they would burn them or bury them...
Do you guys let your dog lick you after they kill the rats?
+cheyenne dutan Maybe after brushing the crap out of their mouth, haha.
hard to watch...too much moving the camera.
its a good deed you do!
you should get the dog mounted go pros

GoPro HD.. so where is the HD then?! Come on!!
I don't understand what the people are on about, I got used to the GoPros' quality in seconds, these people just want something to complain about...
SLOW DOWN THE CAMERA SWINGS. I love rat terriers but I couldn't watch this mess.
The dogs are having a blast! LOL
imagine that real life was like a video game the team of 7 dogs fight 300 rats then theres a big rat the same size as the dog as a boss battle :o
20:58 He shoots, He scores.
What fun to see the dogs work.
Hope your sniffles get better...
did he punt the rat it 21:00???????
With all that dead rat-flinging, I wonder if anyone’s been smacked in the face by accident lol
Agree with Dog Serious 100%
Spark would love to help with that!
plummerterror2012 I hope you upload another good video soon😥😥😥
LOL@21:00 He kicked the sh*t outta that rat.
Excellent
