807 Congress Ave. It was a venue people could rent. We had a few shows here and also at the Movements Gallery. This show Reese hauled in the ADAT recorder. We had forgotten about it. I think at the time we hoped to have some good live recordings to give labels or maybe even the mailing list. I know I had cassette tape to listen to. And eventually ended up with one song from that on my computer. I mentioned it recently to Reese and he dug around in his files and found most of the songs from that night.
@@jamesadkisson7510 Oh yes. I do remember at least one show there. I seem to recall rice krispy treats. I recently found a minidisc show from Stubbs 7/28/2000 with Hi Fi Drowning opening. I had been looking for that particular show for awhile. I am looking for the cd safety copies as my old md deck is temperamental. What fun we had! I hope you are well. P.s. I remember that handout. Kinko’s? Many the night there.
When we were trying to figure out where the songs were recorded Reese didn’t remember Public Domain until I said I thought one time we had Rice Crispy Treats. 😊 Yeah since we put the show together and knew how long we could play etc I decided to make a program for it. Would like to hear the show at Stubbs you are talking about.
@@jamesadkisson7510 Hey man! That is so far out: I read the Congress ave address and saw the rice krispy treats before me, instantly. : ). And the Stubbs show I have on md. It is a soundboard rec of excellent performances by both bands. And weren’t Hi Fi kinda happening? I think the sound is better on your recording here. I will see to a disc.
Cool. Enjoyed it.
Wow! Great sounding recording here. Minidisc? Could you please remind me where the Public Domain Theater was, I can’t seem to place it.
