- What we got up to in this video...
We spent 12 hours in the biggest mall in the Philippines and the 5th largest in the world. We had such an incredible day doing a bit of retail therapy, eating some yummy foods, went to the cinema and also checking out the amazing Christmas decorations. We had such fun!
We even went to the largest IKEA in the world which was insane! We had a very nice lunch as we were craving some Swedish meatballs as they are great and another meal to kind of remind us of home!
We hoped you enjoyed this video and if you did then please show us some support by subscribing to our channel and being part of the on the move community!

We LOVED our trip to The Philippines and we went to 14 different places in total from going all the way up North to Vigan, to the islands down South with the bluest water we have ever seen! 🇵🇭
We enjoyed many adventures together in this beautiful country and tried as much food as we could fit in too!
We would really appreciate any recommendations and ideas for our next trip, anything we missed? Where do you think we’d enjoy exploring next?
Check out the rest of our Philippines trip here: ruclips.net/p/PLEqYdCbbLZjGln3NwiM_Ua2e_mGJDX4ey

Nice watch
Thank you 😊
Christmas is not just a day of celebration here in the Philippines. It's a season! We actually refer to the whole stretch before Christmas day, "ber months" - SeptemBER to DecemBER. And it doesn't end there. The whole season includes the New Year, The Feast if the Three Kings, then ends on the Chinese New Year (or Lunar New Year).
You'll notice the passing of "seasons" on the way they dress up the malls. You'll know "Christmas Season" is all over when they start decorating the malls for Valentine's Day.
By the way, it's my first time watching your video. I'm hitting the subscribe button right after this. :)
Stay safe and I hope you enjoy your stay in the Philippines!
Thank you for answering our questions and also following our journey 😊
That was fun following you around the doing errands, having treats and meals and having fun in general. I heard you mention the Ikea being massive in size, but did you know it's the largest Ikea in the workd? Keep the vlogs coming, I'm following your travels. You may have already been told that Christmas season in the Philippines starts 9/1 and ends in January on the Feast of the Three Kings. We love life, celebration, get together with family, friends and even strangers are wekcome, feasting, and of course singing, an expression of our joy. And there's no better time to do all of these things than the Yuletide Season🎄🎁🎅🤶. Come join the fun since you are with us!!!
I know we couldn’t believe it was the largest in the world 😍 thank you for the information and also we are happy you like our vlogs 😊
Enjoy your stay
Thank you 😊
nice..
Thank you 😊
Wassuuppp ON THE MOVE! OMG! in the middle of the heat of the Sun you're walking on the Street of MOA! 12 hours in the Mall? You withstand that long? Salute to both of you Energetic Ladies! Enjoy your Time! and Stay Safe!
Haha thank you 😊
Glad that you ladies had a great day at the Mall of Asia and IKEA. I think malls are kinda essential in the Philippines because of the heat, humidity and constant rain and typhoons. Philippines has some of the best malls in the world. It definitely make the malls in the US look like trashy in comparison although malls are slowly dying here in the US. Most people in the US shop online. What’s trending here are so-called lifestyle centers that cater to essential and basic needs. Looking forward to your next vlog. 👍🏼❤️
Thank you much we are loving the malls 😍
Nice!
Thank you 😊

Keep on exploring; the country has the longest Christmas season in the world; stay safe!
We are loving the Xmas season here 😊
YES, Philippines has the Longest Christmas Season in the World. And the Philippines is the ONLY Christian (Catholic) Nation in South East Asia. Actually it starts every Sept.15 ( the start of "BER" Months) for the "100 Days Countdown" to Christmas Eve up to Jan. 6 or First Sunday of January for the Feast of the Three Kings or Epiphany. Tnx for appreciating our Country tho you have the so called "Culture Shock". BTW, while you're still in the Philippines, pls try to taste our World Famous Mangoes (Ripe) that was Awarded by the Guinness Book Of World Records as the Best, Delicious, and Sweetest Mango in the World. Good luck and keep safe.
Oh wow we love mangos so we will be sure to taste them 😍 thank you!

We have a mall at 8m sqft, more than 740k square metres. Crazy. I heard 2nd largest in the world. It is called IOI putrajaya.
Where is this mall ?
@@Onthemovetravelstories near klia Malaysia. Wonder if they can survive. Because not far away there is a Mitsui mall near the airport. I heard ioi putrajaya is the 2nd largest by build up space but I cannot verify. 1st is probably Dubai
Manila is in my bucketlist. Love from los angeles
Manila is amazing 🤩

We love Christmas too so it’s a great time to be here 😍
Also Tagaytay city and Baguio city summer capital in the Philippines...and clark pampangga

The temp drops to 22C by mid-December in time for Xmas celebrations. Stay up until February to experience the pleasant outdoor chill, especially in Tagaytay (temp drops to 14C) and Baguio City (10C)

You missed the Fireworks display of Mall of Asia. Usually they light it up every evening around 7pm or 9-10 pm.
We seen the Xmas lights outside they were nice but we didn’t hear or see any fireworks. Is this for the lead up to Xmas ? Or do they do this every night ?
@@Onthemovetravelstories My bad, I meant to say every evening of friday of the week. And this month starting November 18 they will do the twice a week fireworks display it's Friday to Saturday. Last time before the virus every couple of years the World pyro contest from different countries were usually held at Mall of Asia.
SM North Edsa is more bigger than SM mall of asia.. We want to see you guys next on BGC, uptown mall, high street, forbes town and venice mall.. PS.Wearing a mask is voluntarily indoor or outdoor

Do not mind the security checks. those are just customary, it has been that since the 80s the security guard are obligated to check, people got used to it.
I think it’s great they do this 😊
Oh, that cinnabon.
Tell me about it 🤩 it was incredible!
Well i actually like any cinnamon rolls even in local bakeshops but Cinnabon is the pinnacle of it, in terms of sweetness and texture.
I completely understand what you mean 😊
i don't know your names but one of you looks like an artist from the philippines. Christine Reyes is the name. check images.
Oh ok haha that is Jess the brunette one 😊

So Jess likes floaty dresses 👗

Actually every malls or buildings they put security guards coz aside from safety there is a lots of poverty and thieves but if they know you are foreigners they are lenient unlike if filipinos or seems you wear rich clothes or look like a rich people they are lenients
Oh ok we guessed maybe it could be this!
