the serves by blue sleeve guy are illegal. he obscures the ball with his shoulder or his left arm. when are the referees going to get the courage to start penalizing these cheaters

yup thats all I could think about. I hate to see players at that level feeling the need o hide their servers... (ik a lot of players do that but thats not a justification)

100% illegal, surprised the judges never called him out.. Watch the 2nd set, Truls lost 5 points directly on the serve return. Im sure this was why.

I agree - but it will never stop if umpires don't call them on it. Unfortunately it's hard for umpires to reliably call from their side view. And opponents don't like to complain about it for some reason. If I played someone with serves than blatantly illegal, I would first tell my opponent, and if it persisted ask for an umpire to come to the table.

@@randyhostettler8271 can't say for sure but I would be surprised if truls didn't say anything. You could see how annoyed he was and im pretty sure I heard some complains getting cut out

It is legal throw backwards as long as the vertical toss is longer than the horizontal toss
