Side note… I have the Pulse 5. They say there’s a stacked woofer and tweeter setup. I just don’t hear it. Sounds like a single miniature woofer to me. I like the sound, but it’s mega warm.
I was pretty disappointed with the Pulse 5. It can't handle bass at all and the price of $250 is too high. It is on sale for $150 now I believe. It's certainly a speaker for those who value the light modes as much or more than sound quality and bass.
@@JaysStraightUpReviews I bought it for a shower light/podcast speaker. But there’s no volume buttons, play pause, skip track so I can’t use it away from my phone. I don’t think I’ll ever buy another pulse. But the speaker is designed beautifully. It’s kinda fun party boosting it with all my other speakers and putting it in the center of the room. Curiosity got the best of me when I spent $220+ on it 😂
@JaysStraightUpReviews do you notice a bit of distortion with bass on the pulse 5? I did, I was hoping it was a defective unit and have another coming tomorrow. Now I'm worried they all sound like that.
@@chrisdwyer1477 yes, it does get distorted with bass and it's a real problem with the speaker. You have to adjust down the bass in the app to stop it. The speaker just doesn't do bass well at all, which is unlike most JBL speakers.
i just bought a flare 2 on clearance at walmart for a great price. the speaker is solid and loud for its small size, kinda has me curious about the soundcore glow with 10 more watts of power 😯🤔
The on/off for the lights is only for both. You can, however, adjust the brightness on top and bottom separately. If you turn the brightness down all the way the bottom light isn't very noticeable.
I don't know what a Glow 30 is. I do know the Glow speaker is a smaller, hand-held model, while the Neo 2 is a much bigger, boombox style. The Neo 2 will obviously perform better and be louder, but it's a lot larger. It just depends on what type of speaker you need.
the glow sounds like a good upgrade. sounds richer, cleaner, bigger bass etc.
with epileptic LED LOOOL!
wow i really love the new lights on the glow..feels like disco vibe
Pretty snazzy 4-sure.
Awesome video thank you

Whats the music you used on the last part for bass check? Sounds awesome😊
That JBL pulse 5 case looks cool ASF
It is pretty slick.
What the name of the song at 10:40
Glow has much thumping and rich bass.. a bit louder... so satisfying to hear..
So satisfying you need a smoke after listening to it? 🚬😆

Is it possible to turn off the lower light separately on glow?

@@JaysStraightUpReviews Thanks

I have glow and it sounds amazing but rave neo 2 is a much bigger speaker better for outdoor use . For indoors glow is a great speaker.
how prices? sayang belum ada di negaraku 😢🇮🇩 cuma ada glow mini itupun mahal sekali
Not big difference ❤
